Sonic Pov

Sonic: S-Shadow?

Sonic: What are you doing here?

Shadow: I was on my way home an I saw you walking in this rain

Sonic: Well thanks*blushing*

Shadow: Your welcome

He said looking at me with a smile,he didn't seem to notice that I was blushing I was glad he didn't.

Shadow: By the way where were you going?

Sonic: Home

Shadow: Ok don't mind if I walk with you?

Sonic: Um n-no not at all

I said as I walked with him under the umbrella on the way home,as we were walking we didn't say anything to each other for half of the way,but I then tried to see if I could break the silence.

Sonic: Shadow?

Shadow: Yes Sonic?

Sonic: I was wondering

Shadow: ..?

Sonic: How dose it feel to be popular?

Shadow: Uh why do you want to know?

Sonic: I was just wondering that's all

Shadow: Well..it sucks

Sonic: What do you mean?

Shadow: It's kind of annoying when I go to school a specially when I'm hanging with my friends I'm usually interrupted an girls even follow me home or anywhere else...

Sonic: So you don't like being popular?

Shadow: No not really

Shadow: To tell the truth i just want to be seen as a regular person an by the way Sonic

Sonic: Yea?

Shadow: Don't look at me as the popular guy but as a friend ok?

Sonic: Uh S-Sure

Shadow: This is it right?

Sonic: Uh yea

I said as we walked to the front door,an I started unlocking the door with my key an Shadow started walking away.

Sonic: Wait!

Shadow: Yea?

Sonic: Thanks for walking me home

Shadow: No prob Sonic see ya tommrow 

Sonic: Bye Shadow

I said as I went inside an took my shoes off,i didn't see my Dad in the kitchen or the living room so I went up stairs with my back pack an saw that he wasn't in his room,I guess he really isn't gonna be home for the night,an I don't have a problem that.

10:00 pm

After I took a shower I went to my room an laid on my bed staring at the wall with the picture of me my brother an sister along with my parents,man I miss those days I thought to myself as I heard my phone ring,I sat up an looked at my an saw that Tails text me.

Tails: *text*Hey Sonic

Sonic: *text* Hey Tails what's up?

Tails: *text* I just wanted to know would you like to come to the movies with us on Sunday?

Sonic: *text* Uh sure why not

Tails: *text* Alright see you tommrow

Sonic: *text* Alright Good night bud
