Monday.
Need I say more?
The start of the school week. That one day after Sunday that reminds you about those idiots you have to return to. The day the cafeteria decides to serve horse meat lasagna without the cheese so it's just meat and noodles.
This is also the day I have language arts -- and it makes me want to puke. It's not that I don't like the subject. I have the second highest grade next to Suzy Anderson.
But it's the simple fact that I have Lauren Singh in the same class as me.
I don't have a problem with her though. Maybe a little. She's pretty and very popular, no doubt, but she's also very....seductive.
Of course almost every guy would want that type of girl to be all over them like she is with me, despite how uncomfortable it is.
But like I said, Mondays are unfortunate for me.
Today was really hot since the air conditioner went out in our building on the hottest day possible. I had to roll my sleeves up and keep fanning myself to prevent the sweat from dropping onto my test. Why do we need an English test when it's too hot to think? I don't know.
I averted my gaze for the umpteenth time since the test was passed out. No one seemed to be finished at all due to all of the chattering from the girls and horseplaying swarming the room.
Mrs. Dandifol, our current substitute, seemed pretty relaxed in front of her little white fan while sipping from her Coke can, carelessly watching my classmates. I would kill to be in her position right now....
After the clock hits two o'four I'll be leaving to go home. The only thing blocking my way is this stupid test.
I haven't studied at all, let alone even remembering when we learned it. My eyes flickered back to the paper with only a few marks inked on.
A small trail of pink ink lined the edge of the sheet leading to a bunch of hearts and cutesy cursive that scribbled "Cai." Dainty feminine hands slithered around my arm then grasped it tightly.
"Hi darling~" She rested her arm on my desk, completely shielding my test. The grin on her face was mile-wide. "How are you?"
I really didn't want to look at her and settled with shoving her arm away but that just ended with her hand entwining with mine. "Lauren..."
"Yes?" She twirled her dark brown locks in her fingers while smiling sheepishly. I knew what she was doing at the moment and tried to refrain from looking up. Lauren never quits.
Never.
Not a single day has she stopped. "Aww. You're blushing~ How cute."
Despite my own warning, I looked at her anyway. I wasn't surprised at all with her coral crop top and tiny denim skirt that looked like they belonged to a toddler.
I'm used to her skimpy outfits though. It's not everyday you see her wearing clothes that go past her inner thigh.
"I'm not blushing. It's just really hot. I would also appreciate if your breasts weren't so close to my face." That obviously didn't make her the least bit happy.
Although it did make me feel better when the bell rung for lunch. I literally slid everything into my bag then slung it over my shoulder. "I have to go."
Unfortunately, Lauren had other plans. She grabbed my hand and caressed it. "Well maybe you should eat lunch with me."
A sly smile stretched across her face. "Or better yet, I could be your lunch if you want~" By then she was already close to me, her emerald green eyes were glistening. With lust probably.
