"So that's why they brought us here..." I whisper to myself. "The reason why who brought who here?" My mother says. Damn it. I'm always saying my thoughts outloud. I turn around. "The president is restarting the hunger games." Right when I say that she understands ecxactly what I was mumbling. She brings everybody else into the room.
I explain what he said on the television to them. "We were finaly safe.." Korhneilia says. "Until now.." Diego replies. Her little sister breaks down, and starts to cry. Diego walks towards her to give her a hug. She stops.
"What are we going to do?" Korhneilia says with tears in her eyes. "We escape." I say. Everybody looks at me. "What?! It's the only way we know that we can be the safest!" I yell. "They would catch us." My mother says. I grab her by the arms, and I say, "Not if we're fast enough." She nods and they start packing.
Renee tells Korhneilia and I to go get some more food for our supply. So we run straight to the woods. I shoot 3 deer, and kill 6 small birds. As for Korhneilia, she picks fresh berries, nuts, and some fish.
"You got enough?" I yell to her across the woods. "Yeah, I think my arms are gonna fall off!" I chuckle. But right at that moment, I hear a loud buzzing sound-like jet coming straight in our direction. Korhneilia runs to me. I grab her, and I hold her tight. the jet starts to slow down. Right above our oasis. korhneilia sees the that the weapons are laying right under the hover-craft.
I notice her constantly looking up and down to the jet ad the weapons. I hold her tighter. "Korhneilia I know that those are our only weapons, and hunting gear, but we can't risk that. The guards in the jet are staring at the weapons.
She breaks through my squeeze, and runs straight to the weapons, huddling and grabbing them all. "Korhneilia no!!!" I scream. I see the bottom of the craft opening up. he picks up the bow then runs towards me. She drops it. "Leave it!!" I yell. Right when she reaches down a net drops from the craft, and its right above her. I run to her and tackle her to the other side of the woods, but I'm too late. I'm knocked unconcious. When I'm seeing blur, I start to wake up. "AXCEL!!!!! HELP ME!!! AXCEL!!!!" I hear her screaming. I get up, still half dead, and run to her. they had he in the net that was only 12 ft above my head.
They carry her away, I fall to the ground, and I fall be into unconciousness.
