Emily and I were sitting on the couch as we were eating bowls of ice cream as we talked about what happened.
"You're serious, James Manfess - the hottest guy in school - asked you if you guys could get coffee?"
I laughed, pointing my spoon at her, "Don't make that sound weird, and yeah. I have no idea why he asked me though."
I looked down at my bowl as Emily looked at me, smiling wide.
"What is it?~" I asked her, raising an eyebrow.
"Nothing~" She paused, "Just that the hottest guy likes you."
I rolled my eyes and grabbed the book out, "Ready for me to translate it some more?"
She nodded rapidly as I opened the book and began to read.

Ki and Hana walked slowly to the Yamas, wondering where they might lead them.
"Hana, what's the world like?" Ki asked her as he helped her across a little stream.
"Oh,I don't know. I live in a small village, there aren't a lot of people where I live. I wish I could see them and the beautiful colors."
"Don't worry Hana, Kaze said we can help you."
"Is he like a brother or your father?" Hana asked.
Ki didn't know how to answer that, he didn't know what those meant.
"I don't have a family. What about you?"
"Oh I don't have family too."
Ki felt sad for Hana, "We can be family then! Me, you, and Kaze!"
Hana smiled and nodded, "Okay, let's be a family."
Ki was filled with glee, he didn't realize something else was lurking in the shadows. Hana, however, felt it.
"Ki, I think there's someone here.." She whispered.
Ki stopped and looked around and saw no one, "Where Hana?"
She pointed to where trees were clouded in a dark aura. Soon it came to life and form into a man in black clothes, his face was covered and when he spoke it sent Hana into chills.
"Well my dear children...Where are you going?" Said the figure.
Ki saw how Hana was reacting to it and step forward.
"Leave us be mister, it's not your concern."
"Oh I'm no mister, I'm Yami, shadows of the darkness..."
The figure got closer until the light fell on his skin, burning his skin, he stepped back in pain.
"Farewell then children, until night comes." and the figure Vanished.
Hana sighed in relief and said, "He's gone... I don't like him Ki, he scares me.."
Ki nodded and guide her to the direction they need to go.
"Don't worry Hana, I'm sure Kaze will help us soon." Ki reassured her.
they began their journey once more, unsure what to expected.

I rubbed my eyes and sighed, setting it down, I looked at the clock and it read 4:00 am. I looked over to Emily, who's already asleep. I sighed and cover her in a blanket and I took her bed. The next day, I made breakfast for her and then left for class.
