After a bit of time things returned to normal. I have no idea what was up with Shovel Knight. He just wouldn't let go. Oh well, maybe that other knight just roughed him up a bit. That other one was really weird anyway. Did Shove know him somehow? Oh well, no matter. "Shove? Where are you going?" He begins hopping up and down, pointing at the upstairs bedroom. "Shove, you want to check this random house for treasure?" He nods excitedly. Wow, I feel bad for the people who live here. Oh well, this is who we are. "Sure thing, Shove. Lets take a look." He begins to try and run up the steps, but he almost rolls down the stairs. "Calm down, Shove. I'll check." He sits down on one of the steps, understanding as I get up stairs, opening the first door I see. Inside... I saw a tree. A tree with lights and streamers. It was strange, for it was something I'd never seen before. "Shove, is this treasure?" I point at the tree as he gets up the stairs, freezing up as he saw the tree. "Is it?" He slowly shakes his head, looking up at me with a sad expression. There seemed to be colored boxes wrapped in something under the tree as well. "What about those?" He looks back, then shaking his head again, even slower this time. He waves his hand to follow him, and he slowly walks down the stairs with his head down. What did I do wrong? Was this about earlier? I have no idea. But anyway, I follow him down the stairs, and he goes to through the hole where we entered. "Wait, Shove!" He turns around, tilting his head. "I thought we were gonna-" He shakes his head fast, gesturing for me to follow him again. He walks away into the snowy road, which is when I notice that the other knight that looked like him was gone. Where the heck could he have gone? Suddenly, Shovel Knight gestures again, and this time I follow him without another thought. Once we got to the entrance of the village with the windmill, he turns around towards me. He points down back over the large hillside. "The snow has calmed since before, hasn't it Shove?" He nods, running down the hill at high speeds! "Shovel Knight!" I follow him down quickly, the speed almost causing me to tumble! Oh, wait... I do. I begin rolling down at high velocity, eventually getting my large red shield under me, using it as a sled to get to Shovel Knight at the bottom. I see that he had also tripped and rolled, the clumsy blue knight! Once I get to the bottom, he crawls into the shield too, laying down beside me, dizzy. "Thats what you get for running, Shove." I smile to him, and he smiles back. Maybe he meant to hold my hand that long...
