Chapter 2: Within The Darkness

     Lluna had been living the way she had been for about a year and a half. Lukas and Jesse had been boyfriend and girlfriend for a year and a half. Radar had his girlfriend for a year and a half. Petra and the other Jesse were also together for a year and a half. Axel and Olivia were the only ones that had been together for a year. It would be a complete year on founding day, which they had celebrated last year at Olivia's Redstonia Ball.

     Lluna had been enjoying her new life in Beacon Town. Jesse took well care of her and Radar was always glad to have her around. He was indeed very fond of the treasure sniffing llama. It wasn't her special talent that they like but, her that they loved. It was definitely better than being used by Stella.

     Even though Stella did care about Lluna, she just didn't how to take care of  her. She had been an not very good owner to Lluna. She was honestly being used more than being taken care of. She was often used as transportation and to find treasures people had, so Stella could get her hands on them.

     Luckily, Jesse didn't use her like that. Every now and then she'd take her to the mines to find some ores when necessary. About once or twice every two weeks. She wasn't forced to do it the same way Stella forced her.

     Today was one of the days Jesse had taken Lluna to the mines. They were almost done for the day. Jesse needed some diamonds for one of the citizen's project.

     Lluna sniffed around a cave for a bit and scratched at the stone with her hoof.

     "Meh!" Lluna signaled that she had found something in the cave.

     Jesse approached Lluna with a torch in her hand and a pickaxe in the other. She was wearing a iron chestplate to protect herself from the zombies and cave spiders and other mobs in the caves. Unfortunately, the horse armor was to big for Lluna, so she just used her powerful spit to protect herself. It was her 'self defense' method. Or her 'I'm happy to see you' greeting.

     "You found something girl?" Jesse asked as she walked up to Lluna. She nodded. "All right, let's see what you found." Jesse said. She began mining some stone blocks and, soon enough, she found some diamond ore.

     Jesse smiled, "Diamonds! Score!" She exclaimed. Lluna made a sort of purring noise. "Nice work Lluna!" Jesse said proudly. She was using a iron pickaxe enchanted with fortune and eficiency, so she mined quickly and got extra ores.

     "Woah! We got ten diamonds!" She smiled as she held the diamonds in her hand. Jesse put them away in her inventory. "Alright, I think we're done here. Let's go home." She turned around towards the exit and Lluna walked next to her. "Nice work today, Lluna!" Jesse complimented proudly. Lluna smiled a bit and made another purring noise and Jesse chuckled as she made her way towards the exit. Lluna followed close behind.

     Once they had made it outside, Jesse realized it was night; The street lamps were on and the blue of the sky was replaced by a dark black decorated with thousands of glimmering stars.

     "Hhr" Lluna said, signaling it was time to go home. Jesse smiled at the llama the shade of the moon.

     "C'mon, let's go." Jesse said and motioned Lluna to follow, which she did. They made their way to the temple and were silent for a bit as they walked.

     Once they made it inside, Jesse turned on some lights just so they could see. Radar had surely gone home by this point, so Jesse and Lluna were by themselves. Or atleast that's what they thought.

     Lluna headed towards the backyard to eat some hay, and Jesse stayed inside for her dinner.

     The white colored llama sat outiside as she munched on some hay when Jesse walked out, "I'm going to bed. I'll leave the door open so you can come in." She told Lluna, and she made a 'hhr' noise as Jesse turned and went upstairs.

     Lluna stayed out for a while eating her hay while staring at the black sky.

     After she finished eating, she went inside and somehow managed to close the sliding glass door.

     She made her way to Jesse's room. The lights were already off and her bedroom door was open. Lluna snuck into the room and laid down on the 'llama bed' Jesse had made for her. She curled up and closed her eyes letting sleep fall upon her...

     Lluna jerked her head up. She heard rustling coming from downstairs. She glanced over at her sleeping owner and quietly got up. She crept out of the room and into the hallway, glancing back one last time at Jesse.

     Lluna peeked out of the room and down the stairs as a golden strand of something caught her attention. She stepped down and made her way towards the yellow piece.

     When she finally made it downstairs, she realized it was hay. Maybe she had some on her fur when she had come inside.

     She nibbled the bit of hay and realized that there was a trail. It would be a shame if it went to waste, so Lluna ate the pieces of hay that led to the door of the temple. 

     Lluna made her way outside and continued eating the bits of hay. How had it gotten out here? She set the question aside as she headed towards a dark corner.

     Once she reached it, she realized that there was no more, so she turned around. When she did, she saw a figure standing in front of her with a sack.
"Hhr!" Lluna yelped. The figure tried placing the sack onto her head but she head butt them which caused them to fall.

      "Ahh!" Yelped the figure in a low gruff voice. "Argh, Jerad, grab it!" He yelled. Lluna took this as her chance to escape, and ran forwards.

     A figure stepped forwards from one of the shadows, and made clicking noises. "Here, llama." He cooed, and held out some hay. Lluna froze, seeing him being very harmless. She was taken by surprise when the figure from behind pulled the sack down over her head and she was taken by the figures within the darkness...

     Hello I'm super late. I have a very lame explanation for this. 1st I got lazy and 2nd, I wanted to do my Axlivia oneshots story. Besides that, I kinda didn't know how to continue. That's it. (Clears throat and talks in a narrator voice)

What will happen to Lluna?

Were will she be taken?

What will hapen next?
