I feel as though I'm sinking
Into the abyss, the darkness
With no hope of returning
Why can't someone offer me
Just one little scrap of hope
Just enough that I will
Feel sane once more
And fly free of this nothingness
With wings spread wide
Finally free of the weight of life that once burdened my chest
