He stood in front of where the Doctor was kept. She held the gun in the right position and...didn't shoot the Master. He moved at the last moment. He threw his head back and laughed.
Martha Jones had just killed the Doctor.
The Master turned to his Toclafane. "Kill these two," he pointed to Amy and Rory. "I'll take care of Miss Jones."
Martha wanted to fall to her knees and cry, but she didn't let the surprise take her out. She slowly stood up and shot the Master.
She watched him fall, eyes closed and not breathing. She looked around and saw the Doctor. What was left of him. Amy's and Rory's unconcious and cut up bodies. Her family still alive.
"Martha!" her sister, Tish called and Martha freed her family from the trap the Master set. "You saved the world...again"
"I know, but..." Martha's voice trailed off and she couldn't finish her sentence. She buried her face in her hands and finally began to sob. Tish pulled her into a hug.
Martha might've saved the world but she wasn't happy.
