''Yeahh! Gotcha" I held few fishes and showed to Shaeen who didn't show any interest, like a dummy watching all of this.

''I can smell fishy in your silence." I exclaimed while throwing the fish webs back into the water.
''That's because you're holding a fish in your hand." He replied while I rolled my eyes in frustration.

''Spill the bean." I said in a demanding tone.

''I miss my home." He replied hoarsly. I froze turned to him.

Shaeen was adopted. Also, I'd never seen this side of hi before. He hid everything inside him and pretended like he was happy. ''I mean, I'd seen my parents this morning again. Last night, I had a bad nightmare. I and my siblings were busy playing hide and seek until when something bad happens. I screamed and woke up realizing that was just a dream." He said, lost in his stupour.

''Did you see their face?" I asked while he shook his head slowly. ''Nope! But I saw my parents in the same dream either." He sighed and rested in my lap. I felt sorry for him but I didn't open my mouth because this was the first time he admitted that he miss them. We never spoke about this and I didn't let him be alone for just a minute because if I did, then he would feel alone and that loneliness would result him into this way.

Family is  one of the greatest blessing from Allah. Although he was blessed with us, he wouldn't forget his real family. He havem't seen his parents but all he had was their photo. A single piece of black and white copy which he carry around inside his wallet.

''Bro, All I trust is you. You're the only person that I trust and I promise you that I won't leave ypur side. Don't leave me behind when something bad happens, please." Said Shaeen wiping his eyes with his hands.

''Shh!! Look who's acting cheesy. Mens don't cry." I reminded and slapped his arms lightly to lighten up the atmosphere.

Shaeen picked few stones and threw at my side.

''hahahahhaha" I laughed and ran while he chased me from behind.

I finally decided to halt and ask him for a compromise. I panted and looked up to see him pant. But what surprised me was, he threw all of his stones down and pulled me into his embrace.  Suddenly, he then started crying.

''Please don't leave me alone." He said and added, ''I love you, bro." I smiled realizing he was acting cheesy. Is this guy had some mood swings or something?

Third person's pov

''Faris??" Yelled shaeen while  everyone turned and gasped seeing  him as if like he was going to kill Faris.

Shaeen then took off Faris's headphone so that he could listen. Faris then opened his eyes and smiled ''you came? I was waiting for you budyy" said Faris.
''I was gonna kill you, idiot. Do you know what had happened just now? How many times I'd tried calling you??"

''I'm sorry, buddy. I was immersed in 'it's you' by Zayn Mallik. Come let's go to the canteen. I hadn't have my breakfast yet." Said Faris and headed ahead to the canteen.
As they walked, Faris feltt someones gaze at them and he turned to look and found that Niqabi again. He knew who was she looking and then he followed her gaze and found that she was looking at Shaeen who was on his phone. Neverthless, he didn't bothered much because of his appetite.

''So do you have any girlfriend? Shaeen??" asked Faris and then again he noted that Niqabi was turning her head out to listen so curiously.

''Yes, I do have many, do you need some?" Shaeen winked and laughed.

Faris again turned to see that Noqabi whose eye shun in red hearing Shaeen. Faris laughed again and said ''yeah! I'm alredy booked and I don't want any"

''Oh? So who is that unlucky girl?" Asked Shaeen while Faris smacked his head in annoyance. ''She's my cousin."

''Youu! Haramieee" Shaeen laughed out aloud while Faris eolled his eyes and looked at that Niqabi who enjoyed seeing Shaeen's humourless laugh.

Shaeen gotup when he saw 4 missed calls from his older brother, Salman. Then he excused Faris and moved out to call him back.

Faris looked at the Niqabi whose eyes were fuming in red as she saw Shaeen move out with his phone. ''Jealousy girl." He shook his head and muttered himself.

''See how handsome he is? Look at his face. " said Aamina, Niqabi's friend. She smacked her friend,  Aamina's head and frowned seeing her admire him.

Both Faris and Shaeen got up from their seat and  walked towards the classroom as they heard someones voice feom behind.

It was that Niqabi again. Faris gasped when he saw her again. ''I really wanna inform this to Shaeen."

''Shaeen, have you felt someone's gaze towards us?" Faris asked while Shaeen shrugged his shoulder and replied 'No.'

''That stupid girl is mad Shaeen. Don't mind her." said Faris

''Who?" Shaeen asked bewildered.

''Do you remember that girl, who bumped into us three days ago?" Faris said while Shaeen nodded his head slowly remembering her.

''Yes, I remember. What happened to her? Dis you encountered with her after that? Seems like she's interested in you." He said the last sentence in amusement while Faris smacked his friend's head and replied ''You dumb head! She's interested in you, boy. She had been looking at you all this while." Shaeen's eyes widened in shock.

That Niqabi ran infront and blocked their path. Faris saw her frowned seeing her. .''Who do you think of yoursellf? What you want from us? Why are you following? Don't you feel ashamed?" Faris started nagging.

But Shaeen caught her red eyes and tears which was wetting her niqab so badly. He was just so scared by seeing that. Why was she crying? Did Faris's words hurt her? He felt sorry for her.

Shaeen then asked in a calm voice ''What is wrong with you?Miss..umm Niqabi? Did his words hurt you? Why are you crying?"

''Do you have feelings for this guy?" Faris asked while Shaeen looked at him like he was acting crazy. ''Faris! Noo!!" He said.

''This girl was looking at you like you're the only guy in this world." Faris retorted while Niqabi broke out infornt of them. They both squinted their eyes in fear and asked her for the reason.

She shook her head and then he saw her friends ran near them, they also had tears in eyes.

What's wrong with them? Why are they crying? Who all are they? Shaeen thought himself.
