Chapter :4

I got home early and Lauren decided to stay in for tonight. After we became best friends,our family well,my mom and her family grew close. Lauren was allowed to stay over at any day and it didn't matter. As mom won't come home until night,Lauren and I decided to watch movies and of course stalk hot guys.

Her eternal crush will always remain Dylan O'Brien. If you want to talk about him the whole day,I suggest you to have that conversation with Lauren.

But,I mean come on, who can turn down Dylan O'Brien?

He's one of the hottest people on Mother Earth,so it makes sense to have a die hard crush on him.

But I have a crush on Shawn Peter Raul Mendes. Who is also one of the hottest and cutest and I dream about our wedding every night him proposing to me in his tour and I instantly say yes.

Ahhh,the dreams.

We spend the whole day speaking about all our dream weddings and vows AKA song lyrics because she's never the poetic type. We laugh until our stomach aches and our eyes tear.

*ring ring*

We hear the doorbell ring,I run downstairs and the open the door and see mom waiting outside. I hug her and she steps in. My bonding with mom has always been close after the divorce and separation of Blue,our dog.

Mom took custody of me and dad took Blue. I miss Blue all the time,but it's been a year since I've met him. I still remember him skipping towards me and licking my face until I give him belly rubs and massage his low neck.

"I'm gonna make dinner and Lauren can join us,"she exclaims.

"Yeah mom,she's staying with us tonight."

"Great let me start and you can have fun."

I kiss her cheek and run upstairs. I see her checking someone on her phone very seriously. I grab the phone and check the screen. Ohh!! She's stalking Axel Clyde.

Damn,he looks hot. We lie in bed next to each other and check out all the pictures.

One post caught my attention. He was hugging a person,someone a little older than him. He looks a lot younger and his smile is so bright and beautiful. A pure candid where the Axel is having wet hair and a tank top dripping with water. His biceps were quite small and his eyes shining light grey.

His eyes now seems a lot darker,but those days it was lighter and brighter.

The caption read,"Good old days :P with this douche of a brother"

So he has a brother. The brother looks a lot like him except he was lighter skin and dark eyes. Their smiles matched and the way their eyes crinkled was a carbon copy. They look like a happy family,not like mine. A broken family with no father;only me and mom.

I'm grateful to have my mom,but I miss my dad. Anyways,that's in the past and I left it in the town where we were happy. A fresh new start and finding Lauren in this new place felt much more better. Expect I had down days,but I always find a way to get out of it.

Dinner was great and delicious. Mom always made good food and I always tell her open a small restaurant. She says that it's a lot of work and she enjoys her new job at the pet shop. Being a manager in a famous pet shop in the town made more than enough money for us to live a pleasant life.

Mom asks Lauren about school and studies and we keep on chatting about all the nonsense. Until mom asks,"So, honey do you have a boyfriend at least now? it's been so long since I've seen you glow."

"Yes,Ms.Diana,Avery has a huge crush on this guy called Axel Clyde and I ship them 100%,"Lauren coos.

"Ahh,that's nice to hear that you've moved on,can I see a picture?"

I give her a small smile and don't say anything about Axel. I know she's waiting until I find a guy and her radiating happiness put me down and I didn't want to disappoint her.

Lauren shows a picture of him wearing a sleek black shirt paired with black pants. He does look hot there and I'm not ashamed to call him hot. If he's hot,he's hot period.

"Ohh,he does look charming and keep him because he is a keeper,"she babbled.

"Yes,he's a keeper,"I reply with a straight face.

After dinner,we helped mom clean the dishes and the table. We quickly head to our room and do the usual crap.

My stomach is full and my eyes were slowly closing. Lauren was busy texting some guy she met a few days ago at a restaurant and I don't interrupt her. I can see her giggling and smiling,so I let her be.

I huddle on the blanket and dozed off.
