the moon was so bright in this particular night. stars were shining amazingly, the sky is pure black which contrasted those little stars. at mina's sight, it was one of the most beautiful view she could ever admire from the window of her little apartment.

"isn't it beautiful?" she talked to herself, wandering at the skies as her tiny fingers started to swirl onto the window, as if she was tracing every star there is.

"it really is beautiful.." a droplet of tear rolled through her cheeks and fell onto the ground. and it kept coming and coming.

the moment she saw the stars, they made her remembered about her own shining star.

"thanks for the help." park jimin gave her a bitter smile as he got inside his car and drove away, leaving mina all alone, but there was a packet of something left on her hands.

it was a packet of money. in fact, a ton of money in which she could just actually pay all her father's medical fees, get out from this town and start a brand new life on her own. imagine how big the amount is, which jimin gave her as a token for her help.

she stared at the direction where jimin left her, her eyes wouldn't leave that cold air that separated the both of them, so she stood beside the road for a long time, she couldn't even feel anything when her legs got numb. she held the packet of money tightly, enough to poke holes through it. she was slightly glad that she received the money, she really needed it for the sake of his father, who is currently, laying in one of the beds at their local hospital, sleeping soundly like a baby.

he gave her that much money for only one reason; she made an absolutely great deal with him.

which is to be his fake girlfriend, or you can say making him the cheater in his relationship with another woman.

she was startled when he came and ask her, as she never would have thought that he would want her to do that favor for him, especially when they weren't in good terms. jimin and mina were friends, were. but sooner or later, the more time she spent time with him, the itchy feeling from her heart started to grow and grow. mina fell in love with her friend, and you should know that when a friend falls in love with another, there's no way they could stay as friends anymore; which is mina's nightmare.

they say can you can't hide a secret forever, and that was true; jimin later found out that mina liked himself all along, but he didn't felt that way towards her at all, not even a single bit. so instead, he thought of an stupidest idea; which is to leave so that mina would stop having feelings for him and go find another man.

mina was about to forgot this man who left her in one of those loneliest nights, but he appeared in her life again, once again, she knew that her heart will get broken again. but she is still willing to take the risk.

"what do you want?" she asked him, after years of being broken and all alone. she didn't even asked if he was fine during the years, so he thought that she was really over him. but no, she always wore a mask since after she knew that love was pain.
