I knew it was a dead end from the very beginning,
I knew I was gonna get hurt,
Left in tears and the scars it would leave behind. But I still dared to swim in that deep pink ocean.
The ocean that always keep throwing me back to shore,
The ocean that would never let me dive in its deepest corners.Stupidity at its finest level I say,
Knowing the consequences but still going for it.

But I knew better. His eyes fooled me,
And his smile bewitched me.
I knew it was trap
I knew this isn't how it's supposed to be,
I knew better,
But I pretended like I didn't.
