Georgia's P.O.V
I fell straight to the floor, holding out my arms in front of me to grab the nearest object or person. I failed and went flying to the floor, the mysterious figure falling onto me. I could hear Bella barking as my vision turned blurry and dark. ''Get off me!'' I screamed, trying to push my way out of under this person's body. I struggled under their weight until they finally stood up, pulling me up with them by my wrist. "Ow! Get off of me, I can do it myself!" I knelt down, picking up the contents of my bag that had been thrown around in the fall. "I can help," The voice spoke from above me, I didn't look up, not caring who it was until he went to grab something that he shouldn't have.
I reached for the Notebook swiftly, pulling it away from his grasp, "I don't need help-" It was him. "Why is it whenever I seem to be around, you seeGm to also be around. Any need to fall into me? Hm?"
3RD PERSON P.O.V
Nathan rolled his eyes. "Don't flatter yourself. I didn't want to be here either."
His brown eyes flashed with anger, and Georgia's breath hitched. "What are you doing here, Sherwood?"
He sat down next to her, running his sculpted hands through his hair, and it was only then Georgia realized that Bella was unattended.
"Fuck!"
She scrambled up from her seat, earning a confused look from her peer as she took hold of the dog's leash aggressively.
"Where are you going?"
She turned to him one last time, but she knew that her seeing him again was inevitable. "Away from you."
He grabbed for her wrist, standing up abruptly whilst her skin erupted in butterflies, her cheeks flushing a pale pink. She bowed her head slightly, her hair covering the eyes that had seen too much. But she liked it, the touch of his fingers against hers.
"Home," She mumbled, tugging at Bella's leash and pulling her arm away from his touch. Georgia began to walk away, not looking back at the Brown, Curly-haired boy behind her. She rubbed her wrist gently, smiling slightly as she continued to walk forward, her dog padding slowly by her side. Once more, she came to realisation and turned back, spinning on her heels. Georgia walked over to where he stood and looked him in the eyes, "Don't worry, this isn't some romance film where the main character realises she's madly in love with the boy and rushes back to kiss him passionately," She smiled sweetly and knelt down, picking up the tatty, blue book and standing back up, confident and proud with herself.
"7:30, the fireworks display next Saturday?" Nathan asks, a smirk plastered onto his face. She rolls her eyes and replies, "Pick me up, I'll be waiting, Carter." Before turning him around in the opposite direction and walking away herself, smug with herself and her actions.
When she arrived home, she let go of Bella's leash and fell onto the couch, exhausted even though it was only 3:30 in the afternoon. A stab of uncomfortableness hit her in the back of her back, "What- Oh right the book," She dug it out from underneath her and ran her fingers over it, feeling rather unsatisfied with it, bored and dull.
A/N sorry for the inconsistent updates and for this short chapter, they'll get longer but I'm super tired right now! Bye!
