Are We There Yet?

"Ok, I'm freaking out," I say to the camera.

"I'm about to check. I'm shaking. I'm sure I'm not, I'm not, theres no way I am." I continue. I look down at the test.

"Oh, I'm not, ok. Wait." I continue to stare at the test then after a minute or so I shut off the camera. This can't be. I walk into the bathroom to get a better look. Then I turn the camera back on.

"Oh my god. I'm freaking out. Yeah, that's so faint, but it's there. I think im pregnant." I begin to sob. Is this real?

"Oh my god, I'm so excited. I have a baby in me." I continue to cry. this has always been my dream to become a mom and I might be. It's hard to tell though. The second line is so faint. I then hear a knock at the door. I quickly hide the pregnancy test and go answer it. It was Erik.
"Lovey, is everything ok? I heard you crying." He asks concerned.
"I'm totally fine, Erik. I love you." I say giving him a peck on the lips.
"Ok, well, dinner is ready. I'll meet you downstairs." He says then leaves my office closing the door behind him. That was a close one. He can't find out yet. I need to tell him in the most perfect way possible but how. Also, what if I'm not even pregnant. I don't wanna excite him and then come to find out it's not even true. I'm gonna need a second opinion and soon.
I wash up my hands and meet Erik in the kitchen. Tonight we are having chicken pot pie. I take a seat once I serve myself. Erik sits next to me. He grabs my hand and smiles softly at me. I smile back. Oh my god, I love him.
After we finish eating, we cuddle up on the couch and watch a documentary. I end up falling asleep in his arms.
About an hour or so later, I feel him pick me up and tuck me into bed. He kisses my forehead and whispers softly.
"I love you so much Colleen and I always will."
He gets ready for bed then hops in next to me. He wraps me up in his arms and gives me one more kiss on my hairline before both of us falling into a deep sleep.
