The Sea Prince

Chapter 4

a Year had past since the death of Yoshiro's wife and Jirou's mom. The merfolks were now living in the castle gardens.

Seiya was swimming around the grounds with his best friend Nosaka an orphan merfolk. "Its kind of the king and queen to let the merfolks live here" Nosaka smiled.

Seiya smiled "I know its great right, but as a Prince i get to protect you all like my parents do"

"Hey Yuuto cant catch me" a young cocky merfolk swam past Yuuto fast. Yuuto looked at him "Im not in the mood Akio"

Akio laughed "Because you know i would win"

Yuuto got up and swam away "HA CANT ADMIT IT" laughed Akio.

"Yuuto wait up"

Seiya swam over to him along with Nosaka "Whats wrong" Nosaka asked.

Yuuto swam past them both "I dont wanna talk about it"

Hitoshiro looked at Yuuto swimming away then turned to the prince and Nosaka "Its not your fault"

Seiya looked at the older male "But is he okay"

Hitoshiro put a hand on Seiya "Im sure he will be, i'll go and speak to him"

Seiya watched the older man swimming towards Yuuto then he turned to Nosaka "Nosaka im going to speak to my parents can you stay close near the door"

Nosaka nodded "Sure"

Seiya swam into the castle with Nosaka not far behind "Seiya we need to speak to you" Reo smiled.

Seiya nodded "I need to ask a question"

Reo smiled and looked at his young son "Of course son"

Seiya looked at his fin "Whats up with Yuuto"

Reo looked at his son "Im not too sure son, but i will speak to him soon okay, but we have some good news for you"

Haruhi smiled and looked at her son "Seiya how do you feel about being a big brother"

Seiya smiled "Wow me a big brother thats amazing, i would love a younger sister or brother"

Haruhi kissed his forehead "Aww my little prince, you are growing up to fast"

Reo smiled "Haruhi my Queen i need to speak to one of the little ones, Seiya you can go and play"

Nosaka hid behind a piller in the castle "I know your there Nosaka" Reo chuckled.

Seiya smiled and hugged his mom "Mom i would love a sister more than anything"

Haruhi smiled "Sweetie you know nature dont work like that" Seiya nodded "I know mom but if i had a sister i could make her hair pretty just like your's" he smiled.

Nosaka bowled as he saw the queen "Well done Queen i cant wait to meet the baby"

Haruhi giggled "Nosaka you will have to wait for the baby to come"

Seiya swam to Nosaka "i hope the baby is a princess"

Nosaka looked at him "You dont want a prince"

Seiya smiled "No then i would lose my title as King"

Haruhi laughed "No you wont sweetie as you were born first"

Seiya smiled and hugged his mom "Thank you mom, i cant wait to meet the baby"
