Dean enters the school building the following day, smiling but still keeping to himself. He finds Jo waiting near his locker, reading some book with a blue and white cover. "Hey." He says approaching his locker to put his things away and grab his English books.

She looks up from her book with a smile. "Hey, Dean." She places her Doctor Who bookmark into the book, closing it and sliding it into her bad that is sitting on the floor. "Think you've studied enough?" She says, examining his clearly tired figure, fixing the collar of his shirt with a smile.

"I'm fine, Jo." He turns his attention to his locker. "I studied plenty and I still slept. I just really need to get ready for that test." He closes the metal door.

"I worry about you sometimes, you know? You work too hard." Dean nods, hearing a shout from the end of the hall, and turning his attention to it.

He looks to find the jock known as Lucifer marching angrily towards him. Dean grabs Jo by the shoulder, pushing her to the side as Kucifer gets closer. to them. "Go get Sam." Jo nods and runs past Lucifer.

Lucifer reaches Dean, pinning his shoulder back against the locker. "What the hell, Winchester? Do you go around kissing everyone's brothers? Or do you just get a boner for Cas?" As he speaks spit flys onto Dean's face, him flinching at every word.

"I-I don't know what you are t-talking about." Dean stutters out in one breathe, his hands in fist by his sides.

"You can't remember kissing my brother? Or do thoes type of things just skip your mind. You little queer, nothing." He pulls his fist back to hit Dean, Dean closing his eyes and expecting the blow but it never comes. He opens his eyes to find that Cas had grabbe dLucifer's arm and was refraining him from hitting Dean.

"You can stop now, Lucifer." Cas said in his deep, monotone voice.

Lucifer shakes his grip, releasing Dean and with a 'whatever', he leaves them alone.

Dean looks into Cas' sparkling blue eyes, scared. "I'm sorry about him. He saw through you bedroom window and didn't like it." Cas fixes Dean's collar, it had been messed up once more in the struggle. "I don't know why he blamed you but he did.

Dean shrugs, looking at the floor like he usually does. Cas noticed him doing so and lifted Dean's chin up to look him in the eyes. "How about we skip a few periods? We can go back to my place for a while."

Dean saw where this was going and objected, fixing his shirt and looking at the floor once again.

Cas sighed put a hand over Dean's shoulder onto the locker, pinning him there. "Alright, but I won't be here to protect you from Lucifer next time." He breathed down into Dean's hair, Dean blushing.

They hear footsteps and turn to see Sam and Jo come up to them, Cas relaxing and putting space between him and Dean.

"Um, what happened Dean? Where is Lucifer?" Dean looked from Sam to Jo, then glanced at Cas, unsure what to say.

"I made him leave Dean alone, and Dean is fine." Sam looked Cas over dissaprovingly.

"Alright, I'm going to go find him and talk to him again." Sam pats Dean on the shoulder. "I'll see you at the house, Dean." He turns and leaves, glancing back at Cas.

Cas says goodbye, leaving as well, but instead of going to class he walks out the main entrance.

Dean leans back against the lockers again, sighhing. "What was that?" Jo asked suspicouslly. "He was practically on top of you."

Dean smirked. "He was, wasn't he?" He came out of his trance. "He was just telling me something, that was all." Dean grabbed his bag and walked to English.

After all of his morning classes he had lunch from 12:30 to 1:00, deciding to walk home and eat seeing as he lived a few blocks away. He had forgotten his lunch and was not about to eat the school food.

He told Jo that he would be back in time for fifth period. Jo didn't object, continuing to read the book that Dean found out was 'The Fault in Our Stars'.

On his way home he passed Cas' house, and he couldn't help but look into the window that Dean knew belonged to Cas' room. But just as he does, he sees someone staring back at him in the window.

Dean blushes, seeing Cas, and runs up the driveway to his house. After he had entered the house, he found it vacant, his mother was probably out getting groceries.

Dean runs up the stairs to grab hi textbook, he could study while he ate.

When he entered his room, he saw the slip of paper with Cas' number that he layed on his desk the previous night. He was about to move it to the side when he finds himself dialing the number onto his cell phone.

"Hello?" Came the voice from the opposite end.

"Um, yeah. Cas?" Dean grabed his book, holding the phone between his shoulder and ear as he walked down the stairs.

"Oh, hey Dean. I saw you walk by the house." Dean stopped for a moment, thinking of an apology or any relavant excuse at all, nothing coming to mind. "Mind if I come over?"

"Oh, um, well I guess not. I mean, you can. If you want. Um." Dean stuttered out awkwardly.

"Well i want to, and I will. Give me five minutes and I'll be over there." Cas hung up.

Dean layed his phone on his desk, runnnig downstairs to clean up what little mess there was.

A few minutes later Cas arrived, as promised, and rang the doorbell. Dean answered with a pearly white, nervous smile. "Hey, Cas." He opened the door wider and invited him in, closing the door behind them with a slight creak.

"So, I can't smoke in here?" Cas said boredly.

"I'd prefer if you didn't." Dean walked into the kitchen, openning the fridge and crouching down to look inside. Yet another opportunity for Cas to stare at his perfect ass, and he bit his lip with a smile.

"Then I won't." Cas stuff his cigarettes further into the pocket.

"Thank you." Dean say, pulling out a tubberware container full of leftovers. 'Would you like any?"

Cas nods. "Yeah." Dean smiles at him, placing some food on a plate then scooting the container towards Cas. "Thanks." He grabs a plate from the open cabinet and places some food on it as well, sitting it on the counter to wait for Dean's food to finish its time in the microwave.

Dean stoods, waiting awkwardly, as Cas leaned against the counter examining Dean and not minding if he sees him.

"Um, Cas. You are staring again." Cas smiles.

"I know." He walks to Dean, backing him up against the cabinet, placing both hands on the cabinet, and pinning Dean once again. "Do you not like it?"

Dean blushes and his hands grab onto the cabinet behind him nervously. "N-no of course I don't mind it at all."

"Good." Cas whispers, inches from Dean's face. He leans in to kiss him, and the microwave beepd loudly, indicating that it is done, so he stops.

"U-um I think my food is ready." Dean says weakly. Cas lets him by with a sigh.

"Of course it is." Cas slumps against the cabinet as if he has been defeated.
