‘What’s up babe? Why did Harriet ring it’s unlike her to ring you’ ‘That’s the thing Ast I need to go and be with Harriet she is in a right state she has just found out James has been cheating on her for the past two years with her best friend.’ ‘I understand just go and be with Harriet don’t worry about being here we can come and see them again before I go back on tour. Do you want me to come with you?’ ‘No its fine babe just stay here and be with your family will call you when I get there.’ Emma went in to say goodbye and to apologise it was only a short visit but his family understood that she had to be with her friend. Aston put her stuff in the car and kissed her goodbye, ‘Be safe and call me later tonight’ Emma kissed him back and got in the car, ‘Emma…’ ‘Don’t worry Ast I will be careful with your baby’ ‘You know me too well’ Aston said kissing her one more time before shutting the door and waving her off.

Aston POV

Some guys can be such dicks why would anyone want cheat on their Girlfriend? It sucks that Emma couldn’t stay but I know what it feels like to be cheated on so Emma needs to be with Harriet. On the plus side I can now have a lovely family dinner that my Mum has prepared and tell everyone that I am proposing to Emma next weekend.

Emma POV

I feel really guilty for leaving Aston’s family we hardly see them even though I know Aston would like to see them more often. I know that Harriet really needs me though she is absolutely distraught I run into Waitrose on the way there and grab a load of ice cream and wine then drive straight on to Harriet’s. I quickly text Aston – I got here okay :) I will call you later have fun with your family I love you Emma xxxx I received a text back instantly – I will try :P won’t be the same without you. Miss you already :( Hope Harriet isn’t to cut up over it. Talk later Love You Too A xxxx

Aston with his family at the table

Aston gets up at the dinner table and taps his wine glass with the fork. ‘Everyone if I could just have your attention for just one minute I have an announcement to make’ All 20 people turned around and looked at Aston ‘Well I have been Emma for nearly 6 months now and as you may or may not know it is her Birthday next weekend and we are going to Paris for the weekend and I plan to propose to her when I am over there. I know we haven’t been together but I get this feeling when I am with her that I never want to stop.’ Everyone clapped and congratulated him. ‘Oh and Courtney here we go. I don’t like losing my bets but this is one bet that I don’t mind losing.’ Aston said handing £50 over to her, ‘Ha I told you. I knew you’d end up proposing to her from the first day you came home and told us about her.’

Aston POV

I can’t believe how happy is everyone is for me and Emma honestly I thought I might have had to argue with someone but they’re all happy for me which is brilliant. After everyone had left or gone to bed I just sat down on the sofa next to my Mum, ‘Alright Mum? Awww don’t cry I can’t stand seeing you cry’ ‘I can’t help it I’m just so proud of you I know Emma is the right girl for you now tell me all the details.’ I told her the entire plan, and then showed her the ring. Well that was it she was off again I gave her a hug.

Aston’s phone started ringing to That’s My Girl and a smile came across his face, ‘Go on will see you in the morning’ ‘Okay night Mum’ he replied kissing her on the forehead before running upstairs and answering his phone. ‘Hey babes how is she?’ ‘Well she is currently passed out on her bed. She taken it really hard but what do we expect? Anyway how was your big family meal then?’ ‘Well I totally overate but it was so nice seeing everyone again and I get to see my boys tomorrow’ ‘Ha sounds like you’re gonna have a lot of fun over the next few days. The plan here is stay with her tomorrow then come home and start packing things up then I can come and pick you up from the airport.’ ‘Sounds good then we can celebrate you Birthday since you’re going to be so old babe’ ‘Oi you cheeky bugger I’m only going to be 22 unlike you Granddad you’re gonna be 24 next year.’ ‘Ouch that hurt’ ‘Ha so you going to give me any hints for my birthday prezzi’ ‘ahhhh I see you tactic and nope it’s a secret’ ‘pleassssssseee’ ‘Nope I’m going to sleep now babe night sleep well. I will talk to you soon’ ‘Okay night babe have fun’ they both hang up the phone and go to bed

A few days later……..

Aston got off the plane and turned his phone back on to receive a text from Emma – Babe can you get a Taxi back to the apartment not feeling 100% sorry :( Exxxx . Aston got a taxi back and went straight up to Emma who had fallen asleep on the bed he undressed down to his boxers and climbed onto the bed pulling the duvet over the both of them. Emma turned over and looked at Aston who said in a soft voice, ‘hey beautiful, how are you? You don’t look 100% babe just saying’ ‘Well I was getting ready to come and see you and I threw up suddenly it was really weird’ Emma replied struggling to keep her eyes open. Aston moved over to Emma more and placing her head on his chest, ‘you just go to sleep now babes don’t want you ill for your Birthday’ he grabbed his phone and tweeted aww my babys ill the day before her b-day :( A xx then puts his phone back and going to sleep himself.

Aston was getting nervous knowing that in less than 12 hours he will have proposed to Emma – The women he loved. ‘Morning Babe, Happy Birthday’ ‘Thank you’ Emma replied kissing him lightly on the lips. ‘You feeling better today?’ Aston asked looking down at her in the same position where she fell asleep last night. ‘Yes thanks it must have been that rice I re-heated the other night’ ‘Well that’s good. You can have your present now then’ Aston said rummaging in the draw and given her an envelope. ‘Aston!!! What’s this?’ she asked looking down at two plane tickets ‘Well I know you have always wanted to go to Paris so we are going well to be precise we are leaving in 3 hours so you better get packing and don’t forget to pack a nice dress for tonight’ ‘Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!’ Emma screamed getting out of bed to start packing. Then coming back to Aston and kissing him hard before continuing to pack.

Aston POV

This is it the day that could change my life. I was up most of the night going through everything in my head over and over again well I didn’t want to do a Marv and get tongue tied now do I? I turned my phone on I had 5 new text messages –

Marv – Good Luck Today man let me know how it goes :) It’s so exciting will see you about 10 am before you go to give Emma her present Marv and Roch :P

JB – Good luck :D we’re so happy for you see you later JB

Reesh – CONGRATULATIONS DUDE :) I know it’s early but there is no doubt that she will say yes catch you in a bit

Mum – Good Luck today Son I’m so proud of you call me tonight if you can and say Happy Birthday to Emma for me Mum xxx

Courtney – Have fun tonight big bro text me Yes when she accepts :P Love Court and the Boys xx

I signed on to twitter and saw Emma’s tweet Thanks Ast jlsofficial for my lovely present I love it :) Thanks for all the messages x* I then posted a tweet *So glad my girl 1993jlsfan loves her present Happy Birthday Babe Axx I stayed on for 5 minutes sending some tweets back to my fans then signed off and went to shower.
