The Famoux is based in a dystopian society. In one country there is a weird genetic that if you are the same age as someone you look the same. Although Emilee is different and doesn't look like her age group it doesn't mean that she is a freak. Although that is what everyone else thinks, even her family. In this world the only time it is cool to be different is if you are Famoux. That is a group of famous people who always look their best. Then one day one of their members Bree Arch was murdered. This meant that they would need a new member. At this point in the book is when you realize maybe being perfect isn't as great as you thought it would be. Soon enough the Famoux is targeted because they are perfect and in the end someone will die. This book tells you it okay to be different as long as you aren't the perfect different. This story shows that nothing is how it seems .
