Once inside they laid the boy on the couch and took off his shoes for him. While still unconscious Tae cleaned and covered his wound then covered him with a blanket and headed to the kitchen where Yoongi was. He had already changed into pajamas and made tea for the both of them.
"What do you think happened, why was that man about to kill him?" Tae asked
"I'm guessing it was some type of gang violence? I'm not sure, we'll have to ask him whenever he wakes up."
"It's definitely an anniversary we'll never forget, none of that even seemed real." Tae said trying to make light of the situation at hand
"No, it really didn't I don't know what got into me back there. I just felt the need to do something about it." Yoongi said shaking his head trying to make sense of everything
"You did good baby, now let's head to bed. It's been a long day and we need to be there for him whenever he wakes up."
Tae put their mugs in the sink, rinsed them out and took Yoongi's hand to lead them into their room, shutting the kitchen lights off on the way out. Yoongi was visibly tired, Tae could tell by his droopy eyes and the little pout on his face.
He always resembled a puppy when he was sleepy, something Tae adored about him. He had a hard outside and was very quiet with other people but once you break through he's the complete opposite. Tae constantly thought about how lucky he was to have Yoongi as his soulmate. Every little thing he learned about him when they first found each other truly made Tae fall more in love with the man he was fated to be with and that feeling continues everyday. Today for example, Yoongi quite literally helped save somebody's life. He risked his own to help somebody he didn't even know. He's the most admirable person Tae has ever met.
They climbed into bed, Yoongi wrapped around Tae cuddled up with his head in the crook of his neck. Tae stroked his platinum hair and gave him a light kiss on the forehead before turning off the lamp. Yoongi was already fast asleep and Tae followed quickly after.
