Food for Thought? [Zombie Story]

Prologue

Allan's POV

I watched as the school and everything around it faded behind Crystal and me.

"Allan? Wh-where are we going?" 

I turned towards my sister and held my arms open. She crawled over to me and I wrapped my arms around her.

"To the radio interview." 

In all honesty, I had no idea where we were going. I didn't even know why I was so calm. I knew I should be freaking out right about now, flipping out and throwing a fit. 

Crystal was shaking and I rubbed her back. I knew she was terrified, but it wasn't like I could do anything about it. Was I supposed to stand up and start yelling at the drivers? And if that was the case, what was I supposedd to say to them?

I sighed quietly. Maybe we would find out soon enough?

----- One week later -----

I watched as they brought in a pretty blonde girl. She was struggling greatly, obviously knowing what was about to hapen. If I hadn't tried struggling already, I would say that she could get out. I chuckled lightly to myself. Struggling was pointless, trust me. 

They placed her on the table and strapped her in. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Crystal flinch. She and I both knew how much it hurt to be shoved onto the iron tables. I flinched as a man in a black suite pulled out a needle. 

I swear it was about the size of a toothbrush, maybe not as thick though. 

My eyes widened as the man shoved the needle into her and released the fluid into her arm. 

The girl twitrched and seized, arms and legs flailing. In an instant, she stopped and was still. I watched, wondering if anything else would happen. Slowly, I saw her flesh changing. It was dying, wounds that weren't there before began to show up. As soon as her entire body was like this, her eyes snapped opened and she 'roared'. 

And just like that, I knew the world was changing. This... Thing was going to somehow spread. It was going to plauge the Earth.

I just hoped everyone I loved would be safe.
