Chapter four

Crystal's POV:

I watched as my brother crumpled to the floor. His face was twisted with pain, but he still managed to speak. What had he said? The only thing that I could make out of it was 'love' and 'Crystall'. Had he said he loved me? And if he did, why would he say that, he wasn't going to die. Was he?

I blinked and looked at him. "A-Allen? Are you okay?" I waited a few more heartbeats. "Allen! Wake up! Please!" There was no response.

My brother. H-he was dead.

The realization hit me like a blow in the face. I was alone now. There was no way for me to get out. I would have to go through these tortures by myself. There was nobody to comfort me anymore.

I could feel the tears running down my face and on the iron table. The iron table. My brother had broken out of it. How had he done it? Slowly, I closed my eyes and focused everything I had on breaking out. I followed what I had seen Allen do; lifting his arms slowly.

I began to lift my arms, hearing the craking of the metal. Any normal person would not be able to hear that. Or the rustling of fabric. And they definately wouldn't be able to break iron braces with a snap, like I had just done.

My legs were braced to, so I lifted my legs quicker than my arms, hoping that the braces would still break. They did and a smile formed on my lips.

I quickly made my way over to Allen, placing his head on my lap and stroking his hair. I kissed his forehead. "I love you big brother, please watch over me." With that, I placed his body back on the table and looked around.

There was a window at the far end of the wall, and I  knew there were people watching through it. I craked a smile in their direction and made my way over. I could barely see throught the glass, but from what I could see, the workers scattered and left the building, leaving only one person.

I shrugged and shoved my fist toward the glass. It shattered and I chuckled humorlessly.

The person behind the glass laughed at me. I turned towards him and my eyes widened. I knew him from school. Glaring at him, I walked over to him. "You think it's funny that you're going to die in about five seconds?"

He glared right back and me and I laughed again, reaching out and catching his throat in my hand. I could feel the muscles in his throat twitch, and strangely, I felt joy from it.

"Tell me, where is your boss?" I asked.

He swallowed and chocked out something that sounded like top floor. Another smile formed on my lips and I sqeezed tighter on his throat, crushing his windpipe.

Looking around, I spotted a sword leaning against the way, just sitting there. These peole are idiots. I grabbed the sword and made my way to the top of the building, slaughtering anyone that was in my way.

I was numb, there was no feeling left in me except for hatered. Hatered for the man that had ordered someone to kill my brother.

As I reached the top floor, I placed the sword on my shoulder, satisfied with the amount of blood that was dripping off of it. I made my way towards the only door, my expression blank and my blood boiling.

When I opened the door, there was a tall man in a dark suit waiting for me. Obviously he had expected something like this to happen. He smiled at me.

"Hello Crystal, I see our treatments have worked quite well on you."

I glared at him. "Shut your dirty face. You killed my brother and now I'm going to kill you."

He laughed, throwing his head back. "Really? Well come and get me then."

I lunged at him, sword ready to slice through his throat. He jumped away from me easily, blocking any of my attacks with his own.

"I'm sure you can do much better than that! What would your dear brother think if you couldn't kill a measly human?"

I snarled at him. "Don't you fucking talk about my bother, you bastard!" I flew towards him again and got the side of his cheek with my sword. "If you ever talk about my brother again, I will make your death so painful that you wish you'd never been born."

He laughed at me. "Good luck with that!" He said as he jumped out the open window. I cursed and quickly made my way over, peering down.

He was gone. The person responsable for the murder of my brother was gone.

I slumped to the floor, tears falling from my eyes again. No, I couldn't just give up. I would find this man, and I would kill him. With my bare hands. I stood again and braced myself, then jumped out the window.

He was going to pay.
