Feather-soft rain
The best kind around
Empathetic, quiet
A dear friend, now found
And there's a saying, in hell
That if you touch the placid rain
Your heart will meltWho just happens to be so charming,
That you may brush lips?
If he has ambition
Then he will drink your soul
And will have collected the rains priceBut there's a saying in heaven
That if you touch the placid rain
Your heart will melt
For someone dubbed "true"
Who just happens to be so endearing,
That you may open up?
For if he holds a secret
Then he will weigh your chest
Past all of the "bounty" and to where real treasure rests
Your heartNow that was quite a story
Which I can't truly confirm nor deny
For I have lived in hell myself
But look here; I've survived
If what they say "up there" is true
Then this feather-soft rain
Will bring sinners remorse
And "mistakes" a trinket to adore

Poetry2021 note- This is more of an archive of old poetry now =) I like poetry. This is my first time doing something public, if not anonymously. I appreciate feedback, as long as it's constructive criticism. Any tips for getting a vague feeling out onto...
