FOUR YEARS LATER:
September 15th, 1975***
CAMMI ORROCK WATCHED AS IT UNRAVELED BEFORE HER. Chaos struck her dorm room like a lightning bolt as the girls Cammi shared the dorm with were rushing around to get ready for the day.
"Why can't I find my shoe!" Marlene McKinnon yelled in frustration. Marlene McKinnon was a fair haired, blue eyed, bright skinned Half-Blood girl who was always tired and always hungry like she never slept or ate in her life and too preoccupied with sleeping to tidy after herself, which was why she was disorganised. She was also quite the humorous girl, always stunning people with her funny or aggressive wittiness.
"Maybe it's because your area looks like a bomb hit it!" Dorcas Meadowes yelled at Marlene as she tried to run a comb through her thick, untamed, frizzy, dark brunette hair. Dorcas was a dark skinned, Muggleborn girl well known for her snide comments and her eccentric- and sometimes obnoxious or unnecessary- sarcasm towards people she knew well and liked and also those she disliked, but once she was with someone she didn't know, she was as quiet as a mouse.
"She has a point. I always tell you to clean but you never do and I have to do it for you." Mary Macdonald squeaked after Dorcas spoke. Mary was a brunette haired, brown eyed, pale skinned, Half-Blood girl who was basically a lamb; innocent and meek. She was also rather shy and mostly whispered when she spoke. This was the loudest Cammi heard her speak this school year. She was well organised also, her side of the room and area being the tidiest out of all the girls and she was all ready, like Cammi, to go down for breakfast.
"I told you that it would be a waste of time Mary, Marlene would've messed it up quicker than it took to clean it." Alice Prewett teased Mary and Marlene while fixing her school tie. Alice was a light brunette haired, blue eyed, fair skinned, Pure-Blood girl who was very kind and caring. She was the type of person that was friends with everyone and people could talk to her for hours and about anything and she wouldn't judge them. She was also very daring and protective of her friends which was perfect for her as she aspired to be an Auror.
"It's true, there is no point cleaning up after Marlene. I swear as soon as you walked out of the room after cleaning it, Marlene rushed in like a tornado." Lily Evans agreed with Alice as she stood ready by the door. Lily Evans was an auburn haired, bright green eyed, pale skinned, Muggleborn girl who was vivacious, charming and one of the most clever students in Hogwarts. Lily was also the type that had a quick-tempered nature, which was mostly directed at James Potter and his friends when they pulled ridiculous pranks on her best friend, Severus Snape, and with her Prefect status she attained two weeks ago, she would get them in trouble. With people she liked though she was gentle and patient.
In a matter of minutes all the girls were ready and started heading towards the Great Hall for breakfast. Not continuing to listen to their conversation anymore, Cammi followed after them.
