Ever since I was a young girl, I've been terrified of the world.

Outside, I hid my nose in a book whenever I could. I recall a photograph of myself at a wedding, 9 years old, dressed in white tulle, hair done up in curly tresses - reading a well-worn Goosebumps book, my head bent so low my double chin was showing.

But at home, I put on plays for my maids and servants to see. Mother used to watch my plays, until she departed this world for another. Father is too busy ruling the Kingdom. And, as others say, grieving my mother.

Is there any wonder why I developed anxiety?

I know, I know. If I think I have it it just gets worse.

Doesn't mean it magically goes poof, does it?

This is the story of how I got over it.

You can too.
