Pursuit

You, the mighty young believers dont settle with mediocrity. You dont feel satisfied with mediocrity. You tend to create a big picture and endeavour to reach that goal. You all must take responsibility. Now is the time when youre all young and capable of taking responsibility. But youve got homeworks and assignments to do? yeah? Well thats not the real thing. The real responsibility starts once you get married. Then you wont have much time and energy. Believe me the freedom you have right now, you wont ever get the chance to feel it again. Wasting time over playing one video game from another, switching from one episode to another show, watching a dozen of movies, now is not the time for all that. Because simply whatever you are doing will have an impact, this all is going to determine the amount of your effort. You gotta do something valuable such that when you go to sleep, you feel satisfied. You must go for the higher pursuits. You must discover the talent God gave you. You must put it into a use. You must do something with it to leave an impact on the world. You must reach excellence in whatever you do. 

Once you discover the ultimate truth which is when you meet God, youre able to show him that you did everything you could out of your potential, thats what you want to be able to do. You guys should have the best sleeping habits, the best diet, you dont eat junk food, the best schedule, the best prayer time, the best exercise routine, everything you do in life should reach excellence, should be at the top. People around you who are lunging around for happiness, lets say the sight makes you want to play and cheer too. So what you do is, you play. Yes ofcourse you can. But what matters is that you play hard. You make the most even out of it too. You must be called the people of excellence because you make everyone wish to be like you. Thats how you make an impact.

Unfortunately, the type of pursuit that our parents assume is prestige and money. They always go on like: when are you goin to get a job? when are we goin to buy a new house? why arent you working hard enough to go on a world tour? Parents often telling relatives: oh my son is a doctor, hes a surgeon, hes a judge! Perhaps much more with money to show off. Success in financial terms seems valuable to them. Let me tell you people, there is much more in life. Above money is excellence! I pity the people who opted a great career just because their parents wanted them to and not because they were interested in it. That might include the doctors of today, most of them actually. On the other hand, i wanna create relationship with people who chose a career to really help the community, who dont wait for the salaries coming in at the end of the month. These are the people of impact.

So heres my final bit. Nothing really counts except effort. There are different pursuits; pursuit of happiness, pursuit of money, pursuit of good impression, pursuit of fame. Which is the really most valuable to God is the ''pursuit''. Yes He seeks pursuit, constant pursuit. Lets say you take up a task and struggle hard enough to take it to the finish line but still you dont get the desired result, the progress chart is flat. Now here, you might not be creating an impact on others, youve got no progress on ground. In the eyes of people, what you did wasnt worth it because they couldnt see an incrediible result. They judge you on the basis of your struggle's outcome. But always remember one thing, that God is going to judge you by your constant effort, your continuous pursuit.

Just think! What is your life going to mean if its just about playing one game to another? What are you pursuing? Who cares if you got medals in one of the levels? Push ups, who cares how many you did?Guys stop lying to yourself, stop being lazy, stop rationalizing. No you didnt try everything! Just keep pushing yourself. When your life means something, it gives you happiness, it gives you all the satisfaction of the world undeniably. Internalize this pursuit and see the result of your efforts pouring in. 

Tell me, what do you guys display in your resume; the result or pursuit? ofcourse the result. They damn care how much effort you put in in graduating or getting a diploma. To them matters the grades. 

Well, for a moment lets forget about pursuit of happiness. Why are you always uncertain about yourself? Why do you think youre not good enough? Take it easy on yourself. Chill out. If you dont have knowledge of all the equations, or all the vocabulary, its not the end of the world. You worry too much about your result. Stop thinking about the result and just think about your efforts.  You expect the fruit of your labour just right away. Well thats totally wrong because the calendar doesnt belong to you. It belongs to God. For instance, two candidates who take the same test on the same day, one of them gets 99 while other gets a zero. The one who got zero worked day and night while the high achiever was always seen sleeeping in the class and he didnt really have to put in much effort. Thats because he was capable of doing it. The one who got zero, he just wasnt designed for that sort of test though he was seen smart in his career. Seems unfair! But when the examiner (i.e. God) will mark the test, he'll find the one with zero marks more valuable.

Bear in mind that youre supposed to be judged by your efforts. Fix the quality. Think about the ultimate truth. Start thinkin bout impact and ideas will come pouring in. Creativity and projects will eventually make their way to you. You are a capable young believer. Make sure you impact the world like never before. Make sure you get the right pursuit and the next generation would find you gold standard!
