One year later

*******Felix's p.o.v.*******

My mate left one year ago. I went to get out of bed and an arm pulled me back down. The red haired, green eyed Samantha whined.

"Where are you going?" She whined. Goddess I can't stand it when she whines.

"I'm going to make some calls. The rogues keep getting worse."

"Ok I'll see you after school." She purred. I walked to my office. <Markus can you bring me the Blood Moon pack's file> I wish he'd stop moping around all day long.

Goddess I miss Mara. I can't believe I rejected her. But she was a weak human, chubby, and cut all her hair off. She is probably dead and it's my fault.

The door opened, snapping me out of my thoughts. Mark sat down in front of my desk.

"They have the best warrior right? They promised to help if we ever needed any thing when my dad was alpha?" I asked him.

"Yes alpha Felix. Here is their alphas number. I would call around lunch time." Mark told me and handed me a piece of paper.

"Dude I know you miss her but I need you to be happy and preppy when they come."

"I know and I will be. I'm going to repaint the house and get new couches." He walked out.

*******Mara's p.o.v.*******

I woke up and looked at the clock it was 5:30 a.m. I went to get up when I remembered what happened last night. I turned over and looked at Kade. He opened his eyes and smiled at me.

"I wish I could wake up like this every morning." He is adorable when he wakes up.

"Do you mean wake up naked next to a naked me? Or are you talking about what happened last night?" I asked and smirked at him.

"I think both. I have some thing and a question for you." He reached in his night tables drawer. "I was going to do this last night but other amazing things happened."

He got out of bed and pulled me out to. He got down on one knee.

"Mara Silverman will you marry me?"

"Yes. I will. By the way you do realize we are both naked?" I laughed.

"And what's your point?" He asked as he slipped the ring on my finger.

"I have to go to school. So put some clothes on I don't want to be late. If you keep walking around like that I might be."

He smirked at me. I walked in my closet and grabbed some blue jeans, a v-neck shirt, combat boots, and a leather jacket. I threw my jacket on the bed and I took a shower, got dressed, straightened my, and put on a little make up.

I grabbed my jacket and ran down stairs. Shawn and James were waiting on me.

"Well it took you long enough." Shawn said, smiling.

"Sorry didn't realize I took so long. Are y'all ready?" I apologized. They looked at each other surprised.

"Are you feeling okay Mara? You never apologize and you've been smiling since you can down stairs." I rolled my eyes.

"Come on I want to show you something but you can tell no one." We ran outside where no one was around and I held up my hand.

"Damn that's a huge stone! When did this happen?" Shawn asked.

"This morning after the best night ever." They both pretended to choke and gag.

"At least it explains why she's happy." James says.
