Third Person POV:
Loads of people had gathered at the cemetery for the final good byes to the Assassin that no one knew. It was weird. No one knew him yet here they were. The funeral of Shadow Ezio Auditore. Everyone lined a walkway that led to a rectangular shape in the ground. This was no ordinary grave though. It was a tomb. Underneath was a fair few tunnels and traps as no one should get their hands on him. Especially his weapon art. Then a box was carried down the aisle lined with people from many different types of cultures.
Ghost's POV:
Assassin, Demon, Human. And some others I didn't recognise. I watched as the box was carried towards the tomb. Inside lay the body of the person I murdered. I've murdered plenty of people for various reasons. But I never though he would be one of them. I'm not in the crowd of people though. I'm watching from afar. Hell if i was there and certain people, Blizzard, knew. I wouldn't be here still. I looked in my arm and the band was gone. This wasn't a joke. He was definitely gone. Gone for good. The music was playing. It was slow and very peaceful. Almost as if it was trying to calm him down. Then I could begin to here the vicar at the front of the tomb. Funnily enough it was the same tomb as his parents.
"We are here to celebrate the life of someone special. He wasn't a good person. Nor was he a bad person. He did many bad things but also many good. He rectified what he done wrong and gave mercy to those who deserved it. Struck down by his partner he then dies. His spark extinguished. His lights turned off. This is a sad time for us all. He saved our lives countless times. And now he rests coming from the pits of Hell. He will forever live the rest of his spiritual days here at his tomb. Here in Trenzalor. Shadow was an unfortunate person. He was born into a faulty system. Made to sin at such young an age. Even though he couldn't help it nor himself. He will forever remain a hero to all in the universe. May he rest in peace." The vicar then concluded.
I got my binoculars to see the box. He never let me see the box he's chosen to be buried in. It was a dark blue with almost door like panels in it. It also had some weird symbols on it. Although he was off his rocker so I'm not surprised that his death bed was weird. To be honest I never expected to see his death bed at all.
They then took the coffin into the tomb but they stopped just before they entered to allow everyone there to touch the box and say goodbye. A tear fell down my cheek as everyone touched the box. I don't know why because it was over. I knew it was over. They then started to walk into the tomb and this would be the last time anyone saw him. The last thing people would remember him in or part of.
"Nice service wasn't it?" Someone suddenly asked behind me.
