The glow of the sun shines through the duelling peaks of the grand mountain, Anbrosius. The tiny tip, taps of creatures and the humming of bird song shatter the silence that had built up. In the far distance, the lapping of water could be heard. The sun is slowly falling, welcoming the stars that light up the night and making the road a picturesque journey. The smell of recent rainfall magnifies the grassy hills, creating a beautiful scent that matches where she was going. If only it was under better circumstances.
Suddenly, as if the world knew what was coming, the heavens opened, drenching her until she could walk no farther. Clip, clot, splash. The last noise she wanted to hear. Racing down the beaten path were the kings finest knights on the most magnificent of horses. They were hunting the young woman and they were soon to find her. She had little strength left after fleeing for the first time but she had to try. She was a kind and peaceful woman, protecting the King with her life until it was too late. She had magic. She is magic. She ran, creating a path in the rain with her magic, not a word uttered. The King followed the path, taking the few great knights with him until he could start a fight.
Thunderclaps were heard in the distance as the King and his men closed in on her. She ran and ran, keeping a forcefield around her as arrows were fired. The first one slimed her ear creating a small graze. After that all hell broke lose and the King broke off and came for her. She fought bravely with the sword the King had one gifted her. Surprisingly, the King wished to hider her, to save her because she was his only friend, but the knights had seen her do magic, it was outlawed, the King could do nothing. With one last clap of thunder and a blinding lightning strike, the King lost his best and only friend.
When the storm had settled, off in the distance, the young woman's limp body was carried away by a cloaked figure. Together they entered a sacred place, a land of nature and peace. It was the place beyond the Great Mount Ambrosius, the home to all. There was a lake, more beautiful than anything else, that rested in the middle of the clearing. It's surrounded by luscious and full oaks and elms with some willows scattered around. Creatures calls could be heard from far and near as she was placed in a rustic boat. The hooded figure used all of his strength to push the boat out onto the shining water. With his last goodbye, he set the arrow aflame, then sent it to the boat. It was engulfed in flames and will always be remembered as her last resting place. The cloaked man removed his hood to reveal the King in a state of distress.
He was alone again...
