I do believe his mouth is heaven, his kisses falling over me like stars. His jade green eyes craved for more, yet his hands displayed no more than tender gentleness. I could hear my mortal heart crescendoing in excitement. The pain was enough to kill me, yet the pleasure kept me alive. The sweat on our bodies shined like the sun. The moaning was enough to fuel his engine to keep coming in and out. His hand then slowly made its way towards my-
"Sam!"
"Sam, Mrs.Barbara is pissed off, she's gonna kill you!"
"Damn it." I mutter under my breath.
I take the blanket that serves me as a barrier from my roommate Elise, and pull it off. As I do, my thick dark auburn hair stays in a position that gives me the appearance of a gorgon. I rub my face in exasperation as I look over at the little red clock in the wall facing the only window in our room. It read 8:04.
"Damn it!" I say out loud this time.
I drop myself to the floor and roll under my bed. I then open a little wooden door in the bed side rail. Four books and a necklace are the only things in it. Two of the books I own, the other two plus the one I'm putting back I checked out from the local library. The gold necklace is also mine. I don't ever wear it unless I'm moving to a new foster home, which I haven't in a long time, or when I pretend to remember the faintest image of my parents.
I always imagined that inherited my moms looks, and my dads personality. Of course, I have no clue and may never know, but what can I say? I like to imagine.
"What the heck Sam? Hurry up! You're gonna make us late." Eli noticeably starts to get anxious. Her hazel eyes grow big in worry that Eleanor might kill us because of my delay. I find it incredibly funny, because she totally would.
Eleanor is the daughter in law of Mr. Henry Anderson. He's a thin, grey haired man, with fair skin and blue irises. He is in his early 80's. He's a super sweet old man, and he was the one who decided to take in Elise and I in behalf of his son Darian. The poor unfortunate soul who fell head over heals for dear Mrs. Eleanor Barbara.
"Run run run run run run." Eli rants out loud to make me hurry, but really I think she's trying to calm her nerves.
"Oh my gosh, can you two be any slower? You're gonna get in trouble in school for being late." Spoke Eleanor from inside the limousine, as the butler opened the door.
Eleanor is wearing dark sunglasses Kylie Jenner worthy. Her died blond hair is slicked back in a tight ponytail. And her plastic curves are underneath a tight black dress. With that outfit and her pale skin, she has the appearance of a Colin family member.
"What's the hurry? You've never cared for our attendance before." I question her, knowing that it would irritate her.
Eli looks at me in fright as she enters the limousine. Her eyes yell at me, telling me "what the heck is wrong with you, don't mess with the evil queen." Eli watches Once Upon a Time too much by the way. But I still don't care. That woman doesn't care about us, or Darian. She just married him for his money, and the inheritance he will get once Mr. Anderson dies. Unfortunately for her though, she is stuck with Eli and I whether she likes it or not. The thing is, Darian wanted kids, but Eleanor didn't want babies. So boom! Mr. Anderson was like "here two teenagers, suffer Eleanor".
"I don't care, but I have to keep the act real don't I?" Eleanor says lazily with the annoyance I wanted. "There is a 50% sale at Victoria's Secret, so I want to get there before they run out of-" she stops herself. I just smile, waiting for her to say something I could use to tease her with later.
"Owen" she yells to the driver "hurry up what are we still doing here? Go." She finally barks.
We finally arrive at our school, Midtown School of Science & Technology. The usual happens, Eli goes over with her boyfriend Flash Thomson. Who as usual, is surrounded by a handful of "friends". I, as usual, go over with my best friend Liz Allan. The day passes as usual, which involves me obsessing once more over Peter Parker. But not because I like him. No no. It's because that genius of a guy got the Stark internship. I had no clue there was one, but oh how I wanted it after he got it.
Anyways, Eli and I jump on the limo after school, and luckily Eleanor isn't present. So, of course we stop at the library for a short hour.
I walk myself to the fiction section, always funner than the nonfiction one, and go to the mythology isle. I've been working on the Greek gods family tree for a heck of a long time, probably never gonna finish it, but it's fun so I'm still gonna work on it. This time though I feel like changing things up a bit, so I go to the Norse section. There aren't as many books compared to Greek ones, but they're still weird and funny so they satisfy.
"Mmm...The Poetic Edda... Beasts and Animals... Tales... haha Magnus Chase... Ragnarok... Legends... gods! Cools."
I take the book titled Norse gods, and skim through it. I see that there's pictures so it's not all just words. I sit down on the floor and scan every individual picture, well the ones of the most famous gods anyways. I then stop at a drawing of Loki.
The portrayal is disturbing. He is chained to a rock, a snake above his head who is dripping poison, aiming towards his eyes it seems. But, there's a lady, Sigyn, his truthful wife, holding a cup under the snake to prevent the poison from reaching her husbands eyes.
All that comes out of my mouth is a short
"Ew"."Oh come on." An accented voice speaks. "I'm not that bad looking."
I look up, and my eyes met with his.
