Hello?

I can feel my body jacking up, and butterflies somehow making their way inside my stomach. I may have a big mouth at times, but overall I have sociopathic personality. So conversing with strangers isn't something I can really do.

"Cats got your tongue?" The man says.

"Ah-n, no." I look down at the book I was looking at and look up again.

The guy still doesn't move. He just stands there grinning down at me. Not a word. I then recall what he said a few moments ago.

"Oh sorry. Um sir, if you felt offended by me saying ew, I wasn't talking about you." I throw in a short sympathetic laugh. "I was talking about this picture." I point to it.

He then stands up straight and says.
"Oh I know, and I was just telling you that I am not that bad looking." He kneels down next to me and points to the picture as well.

"First off I'm not red head, and my father never punished me like that. Lucky for that guy though, he wasn't a monster." He lifts up his head and looks once again directly into my eyes.

I take in his physical details now. I can't decide whether his eyes are green or blue. But besides that, his other attributes are literally black and white. He has pale soft looking skin. Which contrasts hard with his jet black hair, eyebrows, and outfit. He is definitely not bad looking, but he could definitely wear less hair jell.

"Pardon?" Is my reply.

He losses his grin and grows a new look. as if trying to teach a child how to read. "Well, you see, mortals are experts at distorting reality because they lack brains, like my brother. So you shouldn't rely on this book."

I can't help but to laugh anxiously and think "this guy is actually nuts".

"I am not nuts Samantha."

I sit dumbfounded. "What the duck?" I shut the book as fast as I stand up and take a step back. He does the same. "And this is why they say stranger danger" I tell myself.

Now there it is again, that grin. And his irises seem to be more green than blue now.

"Don't worry mortal, I don't bite. However, your friend might get a heart attack if you don't find her soon." He informs me amused. "See you around."

He starts walking away and takes a turn. I rush after him "discretely", and when I turn to check where he is headed, he's gone.

"What the duck, what the duck, what the duck, what the duck, what the duck, what the-"

SMACK

"Ow! What the heck." I rub my head and turn around to see a pissed off Eli. I feel relieved that I didn't get kidnapped, and that I'm gonna survive to hear a sermon from her.

"We said an hour Sam. One. We are gonna be 30 minutes behind the schedule now, did you forget Mr. Anderson is bringing a very important visit over for dinner tonight? If we're late Mrs. Barbara is gonna-"

"Kill us, I know." I cut her off.

"Well if you know what took you so long? And why didn't you answer your phone?" As she spits her questions without any time for me to answer them, she grabs my arm and speed walks me to the entrance and into the limo.

We arrive home with George, the butler, waiting outside for us.

"Girls where were you?" George tells us with his fancy French accent.

Besides Eli, George is favorite person in the house. He is about 40-ish, with platinum blond hair that is slowly disappearing. He has a very similar look to Niles from the show "The Nanny". As well as his supernatural ability to burn Eleanor as Niles burned CC.

"C'mon we're not that late." I whisper.

"Mr. Anderson is in the dinning room with our guest."

"Oh shi-"

"Sam! Language!" Eli hisses at me.

"If you two hurry up and change, you might make it in time for the main dish. Now hurry." George whispers as he opens the door for us and points to the stairs.

"Why do I have to be stuck with you?" Eli asks irritated as she skips a few steps.

"Don't act like you don't love me Eli. I'm the only person who brings adventure into your life." I say.

"Stop trying to be all James Pottery." She replies with a small smile. The signal that indicates her forgiveness.

Once Eli and I are decent looking, we walk slowly into the dinner with George behind us.

"OH MY GOD." I yell in my head, and look up to heaven to tell God, "If this is a dream thank you, if I'm awake, THANK YOU!"

"Girls" Darian smiles, stands up and points to our seats as Eli and I stand petrified.

Darian sits at the head of our fancy rectangular table, with Eleanor, who is showing too much cleavage, at his left. And across from him there he sits.
The one and only-

"Elise, Samantha, this is Tony Stark."
