“Jungkook…” Jimin says when Jungkook gets home after work

“Ba...Jimin!" Jungkook exclaims surprised before frowning  Why aren't you sleeping yet. It's late”

“I took leave for tomorrow. I was wondering if it's okay if you could take some time off work too” Jimin says shyly

“Why? Are you sick?” Jungkook panics as he throws his briefcase on the couch and rushes over to place his palm over Jimin's head to see if he had a fever

“No..” Jimin giggles making Jungkook stare at him “...I just want to spend some time with my husband” Jimin declares making Jungkook confused

“Why?”

“Because you are the prince I have been waiting for all my life…” Jimin says caressing the taller's cheeks “..and I am sorry for realizing it too late”

“Jimin.. You don't have to do this...did Mom tell you about having kids again?”

Jungkook watches as a slight hue appears on Jimin's cheeks and he nearly coos at the sight

“No no.. I am not ready for kids yet...I still want to spend my time getting to know my husband … and giving him all my love before I have to share it with our kids..” Jimin says making Jungkook's heart skip a beat

“What?” Jungkook whispers

“I love you Jungkook.  I have ever since you rescued me from my bullies. Taehyung told me everything about how you tricked my dad into signing a false contract only to marry me…. I should have been mad about that… but it just made me so happy… and that's when I realised that I do love you. ..” Jimin says looking at Jungkook fondly “..you think I don't know but I know you keep sneaking into my room very night to kiss my forehead and making sure the blanket is covering me properly.. I know even if you said it's the maid who cooked breakfast and placed it on my table it was actually you… I know how you told your mom who kept asking for a grandchild that it was because you aren't ready,  that you don't want kids when you actually do and that I was ready for a family… you don't have to lie anymore…”

“Jimin…” Jungkook whispers caressing the smaller cheek “..I love you”

“I love you too. Let's make this marriage work” Jimin says smiling closing his eyes when he felt Jungkook lean down to kiss him
