Chapter 9

AN:// I am so sorry I haven't updated... school is coming really soon so I've been super busy getting everything ready... Again I am super sorry...

Ariana's POV://

Today was the big day. My alarm was set to wake me up at 8 am so I could have enough time to find an outfit.

I don't know if you can see the picture but the girl on the left is Ariana and the girl on the right is Haley.

I decided to wear a white floral dress that was quite casual but I wanted to look of some sort of professional since we were gonna record. I didn't do anything too fancy to my hair other than just wavy locks as well as a natural look of makeup. I didn't want to look ridiculous.

As I was putting my shoes on ready to make my mom go pick up Haley, Haley walks in my door and we ended up wearing the almost exact same dress just that hers was black.

"Okay.. that's weird" She said pointing at our dresses

"At least we have good taste. I thought I was gonna pick you up?"

'Nah, my mom's bf was coming for breakfast so I took my bike to came here as fast as I could. If he even thinks that he can be anything as a friend to me... well.."

"Oh come on Haley.. I bet he's a nice guy..."

"Yeah, he thinks he buy me with all his money and his BMW..."

"I'm sorry this is happening to you, I wish I knew what you felt... I mean my dad is never here, he's always traveling back and forth from Spain, so I kinda get it... well I try.."

"I know. but I wish my family was like yours."

"But Haley you are part of my family."

We were interrupted by a knock.

"Girls, I think we should go if you wanna get there on time, doesn't Shawn want to meet the both of you before the actual event starts?"

"Oh you're right." I say as we run to the car.

The car ride was quiet but as we got closer we started freaking out.

The venue was taking place at hotel in Los Angeles.

We both said goodbye to my mom and that's when I got a DM from Shawn...

"Hey Ariana, um are you here yet?"

"Yeah I just got here, sorry!"

"Oh no, sorry I didn't mean to be pushy, I just really want to meet you.:)"

Oh my gosh. He really wants to meet me.

"Meet me in the lobby, nobody is here yet except the guys and I" Shawn said

"Okay, I'm here! :)"

That's when I feel someone touch my shoulder.
