Chapter 14 Old Nick

" Rosie you hold my hand and never leave my sight okay."

" Yes grandma"

" See that place there Rosie?"

" Yhe?"

" That's murder island"

" It looks deserted grandma are you sure he is still here?"

" I know he is...I can feel it"

" Wow! There is the shack! And the forest! It's just like I imagined it."

" I sure do miss this place Rosie...."

" I would love to live here grandma! Well if Old Nick wasn't around."

" Well that's why we are here.... to kill him once and for all!"

" I'm scared grandma"

" it's okay darling you just stay up in the shack while I go and find him okay."

" But I want to help..."

"Rosie stop! He will eat you were you stand if he spots you!
Now run to the shack like a good girl and I will search for him."

"Okay.....fine. Be careful grandma"

Rosie ran over to the mysterious shack she had heard about in Mayas story.
It was Dark,Cold,Damp and Old.

She heard whispers all around her.
The light of the moon shined into the room from the small shattered window. She turned her head fast as she had heard a creak in the floor board.
Her eyes gazed upon the old man who ate over 100 souls.
He gazed back with a friendly type smile.

"Maya, you have returned."

" I am not Maya...My name is Rosie."

" Come closer child so I can see your pretty face."

"Are you looking for Maya?"

" Why...yes."

"She is my grandma."

" I knew it. You look alike."

" Say I'm really hungry after my long travel. Perhaps you would make me some dinner....Old Nick "

" Oh yes Rosie Im rather hungry myself.
Why don't you sit down at the table and I'll make something."

" Sure."

Rosie sat at the table having a plan to kill Old Nick in her mind.
But just then Maya walked in.
She glared at the can-able as she did before.

"Rosie quick come over here!"

" Grandma! "

Rosie ran over and whispered in Mayas ear about her plan.
But before she had time to finish Old Nick came over knife in hand.

" Maya, finally I will dine on your flesh. And I have to thank you.

" Thank me for what!"

He grinned.

" For bringing me desert."

He held back his arm with the knife ready to kill Maya and Rosie.

" Rosie hold my hand and never let go!"

" Grandma? "

"I'm so sorry Rosie"

The screams that know body heard echoed in the air around the island .

Old Nick finally had the meal he longed for his whole life.

And he remains on the island to this day.
Waiting for his tummy to rumble again. And when it dose another child must die.
And the girl trapped in the waters of the island will forever remain.

All was still and all was dark now on Murder Island.
