Your POV
"I TOLD SO MUCH TIMES Y/N! YOU CAN'T HAVE YOUR OWN PARTY TONIGHT" your mom yelled at you. You just landed back not caring what she just said. This was your time of year to show kids at school that you exist.
You walk down stairs and plopped onto the couch turned to channel 7. To watch the news. Expecting the football court to be one. Your favorite football team is F/T.
"This is channel 7 news 15. We bring here the death of Selena Whickmen. She was killed in her home last night in a break in. Her parents here would like to say a few words to say"
Tears formed in your eyes and you couldn't believe your own best friend was killed in her home. She never got to be a fashion model, you thought.
"Selena baby, mom is so sorry that she wasn't there to protect you. I'm sorry sweetie. We will avenge your death baby girl" her mom stated. The DAD had no words to spare with the news. Which was kinda disappointing.
You looked away in shame. Thinking if you had that sleepover at her house you would have died as well. And you dad wouldn't have any words to spare as well.
You turn the tv off and head upstairs into the bathroom. You close the door and look at your reflection. Your heart telling you to do something about this mess. You feel so bad for her death, wanting to know more about the murder. What does he or she look like.
The one thing that bothers you the most is why her own DAD didn't spare any words to world not even a single threat to the murder who killed his daughter, all he could do was just stand there with a hand over his mouth. It's like he had some words that wouldn't come out of his mouth.
"Mama, I know I can't swear until I'm 21, but for her sake it's not a choice" you say to yourself in the mirror. Looking I'm down into the sink. Looking at the drain. "Once I find who ever the fuck killed my best friends they will wish they can bring her back to life"
As you stated to your reflection you had no longer see yourself in the mirror. Parts of the glass missing some in the sink, blood, you had just punched the mirror. And you walk out the bathroom like nothing just happened. Ignore the pokingvhead of you older sister and little brother.
"What's your problem, dumbass? Mad thqt mom and dad can't let you have a party?" She said. Then your little brother came running towards your room and you shut the door on him. He was about to speak but the slam of the door had gave him a pause of breath.
Then you heard angry footsteps coming towards your room door. And not even a single knock but straight up opened the door. "What Do YOU want now? You asked her with a rude tone of voice.
She came your way and grabbed you by your shirt. Holding you up her face. "Now your my height. What's your problem? Whatever the fuck your going through don't take it out on on our little brother!"
She let go of you, and you wanted to defend your self. You was suck and tired of everyone talking and treating you like your a baby. You balled your fist and looked at her. Made perfwcft eye contact. That contact was never broke until you striked.
You pushed her back into the wall and her phone feel out her pocket. You made a quick and sly move to grab her phone. You rushed to the window.
"You wouldn't dare" she says putting her hand out in front of her and standing up slowly. You raised an eyebrow at her and said, "I wouldn't?" She then took a step closer to you and you reached out farther.
"You wouldn't " she finally says. And that was a spark of shattered love. Her phone dropped and from the height it's broken alright all cracked. "YOU BITCH!" She yelled out to you.
She fell to her knees and covered her face and cried. You did what you had to do. And now it was No longer a strike of anergy.
You held your door. And looked down at her. Deep down inside your heart you felt bad for what you did. You had made your bigsiter cry. But for all those mean things she did to you. Some of those things where nice and made with love.
She never made you cry before. Not even when you was first born. She was so sweet to you. But now it's thought love. No more babying you. You now understand why she is so mean to you.
You run past her and down the steps almost falling down the last 3 steps. You rushed outside and found her phone. Picking it up and looking at it from front to back. It's had no scratch on it.
Then that was a problem. That was a problem that needs to be solved. You rushed back inside your home. And went straight for the kitchen house phone. Taking out your allow an which was $125.46. You saved all the time.
"Hello? This is the phone fixed department. How may I help you? How may we assist you?" The lady said over the phone. You cleared your throat and talked. "Why yes, you may help me. So my sister was having a birthday party and her phone fell out of the window from our little brothers friend. And there's no scratch or marking on it, not on the front or back"
You waited for a while to make sure she got all that information. You had low about the dropping the phone out the window on purpose thing. "Well...uh...Your story is very suitable, so I may say this. So there's good new and bad news"
You rolled your eyes. What am I 10, you thought to yourself. "What's the good news?" You asked her. "Well the good news is the phone on the outside is alright"
You sighed and asked her with a mean look on the other end, thankful your meeting her in person. "What wrong on the inside then?"
She cleared her throat before answering you, and you had a feeling that this wouldn't be good. "Well..uh..The bad news is, that all the files and apps and storage, videos, was all deleted from how the phone took the damage"
You stomped your foot in anger, seems like she heard it if she asked you if you was okay. "Yes I'm fine. Thank you for taking the time to help me out"
You hung up the phone and placed it on the coffee table in the living room. Sitting down on the couch, looking dead straight at it. Burning a hole at it. Trying to figure out a way to help your sister and to fix your mistakes.
"What's wrong. It's broken. Now need to have in it's previous home. It's dead now. Just forget about it" she said walking down the stairs and into the kitchen.
"Favor. I'm sorry. I know I destroyed your only love. But can you just sit down and let me explain some things I found out" you ask her.
She walk to the backdoor and kept her hand onto the door knob. And walked over to the single couch. "What is it that you needed me to sit down to talk to you about?" She asked you.
You sighed and picked up the phone. "You see this. This is your life that's in my hands. And when I dropped it out the window. I knew deep down inside i felt bad. You had never made me cry before. And here I am doing something you never did to me"
"I'm sorry"
