Mila James had stood at her open locker for five minutes, She had stood there looking at the few books there, "Angel?" She jumped slightly looking up at her best friend, He had a worried expression on her face and she just smiled, "Are you okay?" He asked looking over the girl who stood in front of him.

"Uh yeah, Why wouldn't i be?" She asked with a false amused expression.

"Are you sure?" Jughead pried, Not liking seeing her so panicked and jumpy, It was like they had gone back ten years when they were six and she'd flinch around her dad.

"Yeah, I'm fine jug." She smiled, Jughead placed his hand on the side of her face, Examining her eyes, To see if he could sense or see anything. But what he was were blank, Dead eyes. He knew she wasn't okay.

"Angel..."

"As long as me and you are me and you, I'm perfect pancake." She laughed using his childhood nickname.

"Okay, I'm going to check the murder board, Get some updates on it. Wanna come?" She nodded and he smiled and slung his arm across her shoulders as the two walked in contentment. When they walked in they saw Principal Weatherbee and Sheriff Keller, "Hey..." He said hesitant, Slightly pulling Mila behind him.

"Hey there." Sheriff said back, Eyeing the two teens.

"Is there something wrong?" Mila asked, Slightly scared.

"You two need to come down to the station with me." Keller spoke, Mila's breath was cut short and Jughead grabbed her hand. He nodded and the two walked out, She sheriff right behind them. Students started to crowd around the two and Jughead could feel Mila panicking.

"Call my dad and Bec." Jughead called out to Archie who nodded.

"Juggy..." Betty called out but Jughead didn't hear. He was focused on making sure Mila would be okay.

Mila sat in the interrogation room, Alone. Her silver snake ring clinking against the table. She had a record and a long one. The door opened revealing Sheriff Keller. Her breath hitched once again and she started tapping her foot instead, "Morning." He greeted. Mila just stared at him and he sighed, "Okay so, Your not in any trouble. All we're trying to do is knock out some suspects. You and Jughead are two of them." He spoke.

"Why? We didn't do anything." She defended.

"We ran your name and prints through the system and you have a couple incidents from around six years ago." He said putting the file on the table. "Assault, Disorderly conduct, Obstruction of justice, Petty theft, Vandali-"

"Okay i get it. I have a record. Okay i was ten. My dad just died. I was a bad kid." She shrugged, All her past misdemeanors had been excused.

"Yes, But i also had a look at your school record. You've had a rough history Miss James."

"Yeah, I grew up on the southside, I'm a serpent. I grew up in a caravan park and my parents died. Obviously i was gonna get picked on. So what." She shrugged once again.

"Where were you the week of July eleventh."

"I don't know." She said, He gave her a look and she sighed, "I was probably at the cemetery. It would have been my dads birthday. I was with Bec. Ask him."

"We will. Sit tight." He said walking out of the room, Causing her to slam her fist on the table.
