Love Is A Question (Broppy)

Chapter 8

It was the next morning and Branch was waiting for poppy to arrive when he saw her coming from the distance he started to get the things he brought with him all gathered up

Poppy-Good morning Branch firstly I wanted to say sorry about yesterday I crossed the line and I went overboard on our conversation so sorry again

Branch-It's fine Poppy lets just get this started with the sooner the better *he walks the direction to where his new bunker will be located at with poppy following*

Poppy-So how are we going to start 

*Branch tossed her a shovel and pointed to where he wanted her to go*

Branch-Dig here and don't stop till I tell you to do so

*So poppy started digging taking breaks because of being tired from digging for a long time and while she kept digging Branch helped because she was taking to long*

Poppy-Are we almost done

Branch-Not even close just keep digging and stop asking questions *continues to dig*

*After a few hours of digging the got to how far they needed to go down to*

Branch-Alright time to make the tunnels *looks over to see poppy laying on the ground almost about to pass out from working so hard* ok we can take a break

Poppy-Thank...you...so....much *she said over panting*

*So they took a break for about an hour and they talked and drank water/eat food Branch brought with him after a few more hours of working they headed to the village from a hard days work while they headed to poppy's pod poppy spotted the snack pack and they ran over to her and they hugged*

Suki-Wow poppy you look like you ran a marathon 

Poppy-Well I was just getting finished helping Branch

*The snack pack looked at him just seeing him standing there awkwardly waiting for them to finish talking with poppy looking at him with a face that said say something to them*

Branch-Yeah Poppy is a big help also we got off on the wrong foot plus creek I owe you an apology *in his head I don't mean anything I say to you to be a real apology* 

Creek-Apology accepted mate *in his head I really don't like you*

Poppy-Well it's been a long day for me and Branch so were going to head to my pod

Smidge-Why is he going with you?

Poppy-Well he's going to be staying with me till we finish his home *smiles and drags Branch to her pod waving goodbye to her friends*

*Later that night Branch snuck out of poppy's pod and walked around the village till he ran into creek who was waiting for him*

Creek-Nice evening isn't Branch

Branch-Cut the nice guy routine and lets talk about what we really want to talk about

Creek-Right to the point I see very well I have one simple demand don't get to close to poppy she's mine not yours and never will be

*Little did creek know that Branch was recording their conversation*   

Branch-Well you don't even care about her  you just want to be king so you have power and just use poppy all you really see her as is a personal play toy mainly you want power and her body 

Creek-Interesting that you figured that out how come you knew that

Branch-Well we both know your true personality and also I see how you look at her the lust in your eyes 

Creek-Man Branch your on the spot like always but it doesn't matter what we say here even if you do tell Poppy these things about me she won't believe you so again don't get closer to her or you will regret it

Branch-Oh and what can you possibly do to me because all I see is a coward who saved his own life and left poppy to die 

*Creek flinched at this*

Creek-How did you know I did that

Branch-I saw the whole thing play out not cool

*Creek goes up to him and tried to punch Branch from frustration but Branch dodges it with ease with Branch uppercutting  creek* 

Branch-Your all bark no bite try and hurt me again and you will go down instead of me *he walks away secretly grabbing the recorder/bug and walking back to Poppy's pod also hearing creeks voice in the distance*

Creek-You will pay for this Branch I will show everyone what you did to me
