"C'mon Blind, we're almost here!" Michael said, taking Luke by the hand and leading him to an unknown destination.

"Where are we going?" Luke asked.

"It's a surprise..." Michael answered with a smile.

Luke had no idea where Michael was going and he had reviewed this in his head since the day his friend told him they were going to God knows where. The same question came to his head over and over: Was this a date? He didn't even know what Michael and him were but he knew that he really liked Michael in more than a friendly way. They've been hanging out a lot lately, Calum even joined them that one time when they went to the Mexican restaurant, but it was kind of awkward even if he and Luke had worked things out a long time ago.

Luke had never been nervous about going at different places with Michael before, but this time was different and he didn't know why. Maybe it was the way that Michael's hand felt against his, or the way that their fingers were intertwined that made him feel all warm inside.

After about a 15 minutes walk, they were finally at destination. Luke immediately asked Michael about their emplacement.

"Where are we?"

"Try to guess." Michael answered, a smile growing on his face.

"Tell me we're not at a club."

"Do you even hear music?" Michael laughed.

"Well there's this cute little music that sounds like we're in a pirate kids show." Luke answered. "This is definitely not a club so, where are we Mikey?"

Sounding excited, Michael put a ball and a stick in Luke's hands. "Mini golf!"

"Are you serious?" Luke asked with a nostalgic voice. "I totally loved mini golf when I was little and not blind, you know. I came all the time with my family. How do you want me to play I can't even see. I'm gonna be so bad at this."

Giving Luke a hug, Michael spoke softly in his ear. "Hey, cheer up Lukey, it's gonna be fun."

Putting Luke's golf stick in his hands and wrapping his body against Luke's back to put his hands on top of his friend's, Michael whispered "See, I can help you."

At this moment, Luke couldn't help but smile. If Michael was helping him like that, it couldn't be bad.

The two boys went to the first hole and Luke went first while Michael was guiding him with his voice only this time, to see what Luke was able to do.

"A little bit to the right... No no no left left left... Right a little... Perfect! Now try this!"

Luke hesitantly hit the ball and Michael immediately cheered.

"Oh my god Luke! You did it! You made a hole in one!"

"What? Really?" Luke asked excitedly.

"No, actually, you hit that poor woman on the back of the head. But that was kind of where I guided you" Michael said with a small laugh.

"Asshole." Luke laughed, pushing Michael's shoulder playfully.

"You love me."

"No I don't."

"Yes you do. Now dear, let me help you." Michael said, a smirk on his face.

Holding the golf stick together, the two boys were finally able to play, even though they needed a million tries to finally reach the hole. Luke didn't really mind though. Being that close to Michael was the only thing he needed to be happy right now.

The same question was still in Luke's head after all this time, so he finally took the courage to ask it.

"Michael?" Luke said hesitantly.

"Yeah?"

"Is this like a... Is this... Is this a date?" Luke asked, his cheeks turning red.

"Yeah." Michael said, smiling. "Well, if... If you want it to be of course."

Smiling, Luke took Michael's hand.

"I'd love it to be, actually."

Coming closer to Luke, Michael gave a small kiss on his cheek.

"Good," Michael whispered "because I want it to be a date as well."

Both smiling, the boys continued to play until they were at the end of the course.

They've had a lot of fun and their laughters had filled the air beautifully during this whole date thing.

Being close as ever, Luke let Michael's wonderful smell fill his nose while Michael took off Luke's glasses to see his beautiful bright blue eyes.

"Michael... I... I think I love you." Luke admitted.

"You think?"

"No. I'm sure. I... I love you. I can't even see you but your company is what I needed in a long time and even if I can be a total ass sometimes I don't really mean it because you make me smile, and I love the way your hair is so fluffy and soft even if I can't see it. I love your laugh and I love your voice and..."

Luke was cut off in his speech by Michael pressing his lips softly on Luke's. The kiss was short, but just what he needed. Luke was surprised at first, but quickly answered the kiss. When they pulled out, Michael whispered gently in his now more than friend's ear.

"Good, because I love you too, and I knew it since the first time I saw you at the library."

Pressing their lips together, the two boys smiled into the kiss.

"So are we like... boyfriends now?" Luke asked.

"Yeah, I think so." Michael smiled.

"Do you think your dad will chase us with a bible and holy water and do some sort of exorcism on us if he learns about this?"

"I don't know," Michael laughed, lacing his fingers with Luke's "but it's worth a try."
