"For centuries, mankind has honoured the dead through rituals and memorials. The birth of All Hollows Eve became a disgrace to the humanity's seeing for the dead"

"Come on Jessica it's almost time!". The worst time ever to get up early, has to be today. I swear that I could hear her downstairs still talking to her boss on the phone.

"Get your butt out of that bed right now! We're going to be late! Hurry up!" my pillow is not even helping at the moment. The noise of her screaming is as bad as the neighbours dogs barking at the postman.

Bring-your-daughter-to-work day is the worst idea someone could ever make into a real day. I mean, why would someone even give such horror to a child. Even so, we can't even have a good talk there. It's all work and no bonding time. That is, if we ever bonded.

At her work, I sat on one of the couches in the admitions office.

"Hey kiddo. Listen here," my mom came walking up to me, "I'm going to have a small chat with my boss and then we can have some mother and daughter time. Okay?" giving me an asured look and a pat on the shoulder, "But I have a little time to talk, because my boss is a bit busy."

"Sure mom," having the highest of doubts. The last time that I was thinking of bonding with my mother, was about two years ago. And that didn't work out as well as I thought it would.

"Mom. Tomorrow is Halloween," as if that wasn't any news to her already, "and I was wondering..." crossing my fingers behind my back, "Is there any chance that I can go to the party in my 'Harley Quinn' outfit, please?".

"We'll see how things are at home. But till then, I'm not even going to let you go at all." I can't believe my mom said those words. My thoughts were so raged with the anger and fury, that I almost forgot about what my friend told me.

"What about Randy's option of going to that other place?" I asked with a puzzled expression. Oh no, that slipped out of my mouth so quickly.

"What option?" Still fiddling with her pen.

"Did you really forget, mom?" I stand back to the opposite direction and tilt my head slowly. She gave me a questioning glance on my posture. Her face was full of shock and horror now, and she was looking behind me. Staring deeply towards something I would not know of.

When someone takes my hand, I always feel the really uncomfortable, but when my mother takes my hand, then it makes me relaxed and serene. But when she grabbed my hand and pulled me towards her office, I nearly thought that I wasn't with my mother anymore.

She closed the door behind me and grabbed my shoulders, pulled me towards her desk and pushing me under it.

"Keep quiet and don't move from this spot!" She whispered as if shouting. Terror is in her eyes and I see it right into her soul...
