Chapter 1

            Today was another enchanted day in WoodsDale. It was known for cheerful people and good stores. I always thought this land was some how enchanted with internal happiness. WoodsDale was a little village that I came to as a vacation when I was a little kid but was abandon on as soon as my parents died of sickness. The town was lovely, but was surrounded by walls due to rumors that had been told of vampires live in the forest near WoodsDale to drink the blood of the towns people for some reason.

            While I was walking down to the farmer's market, I heard the Mayor, a plump man in his 40's with a full brunette bread that almost matched his monk-like haircut. "All who kill the Mistress in Blue shall receive a reward of 100 pounds of gold and title as Hero of WoodsDale. Before, I had only seen the shore, town, and a huge tower in the silvery mountains. But now, I could see the outside world of the island and bring back a plenty of gold to eat a roasted ham and drink the finest wine. However, I would leave my little Erin behind, possibly for months! We were both heavily poor, so surely he would starve to death or even begging on the streets! 

         So later that day, I told my little brother about the wanted poster and the bounty. My little brother started to grin as he heard the reward and started to dream of new clothes and story he would tell when he would've defeated the Mistress. "Sis, I wanna come! Can I, can I?!" Erin squealed, grinning from ear to ear. "... No. I don't want you to get hurt. Plus, I'm not even sure if I'll do it.." I sighed, noticing his grin fading. Erin started to berate me,  telling me how we could be known as more than tourist; more deserving for a better life; plus it would make us cool! He wanted to help but I couldn't bare to imagine what would or could happen to him . 

          Later that night I pondered some more, considering the berating from my little brother. Maybe I should take that bounty.. but my brother... Never mind, I'll deal with it tomorrow... maybe apologize to my brother..
