Five Seconds - l.h

{ rainy days }

We all decided on having a lazy day today since I don't feel like getting beat up today.

*BOOM*

The loud thunder startled me, but then I got relaxed and smiled. I love rainy days because they relax me and help me sleep. Rain is such a soothing sound, and call me crazy but I think thunder is also a soothing sound.

Everyone else seemed startled so they all just scrambled in fear and hid under the blankets we put downstairs. I laughed and turned on the tv, but it wasn't working.

" Powers out. " I said ploppong the remote down on the floor. The lights were out as well, but we turned them off before the power went out.

" I say we get some lanterns and some tripods. " I said getting up. They all looked confused, but Bee and Megan knew what I was doing, so they followed me.

We came downstairs with five lanterns and three tripods. The boys still looked confuse but we just grabbe the blanket and put it over the three tripods, and we got some books to hold it down.

We took the lanterns and set them all inside and in each side.

We made a roomy tent. There was enough room for each of us, because it was a big blanket. We grabbed the extra blankets and pillows and stuffed them inside, while some boys went to go get snacks and drinks.

We were all set, the food is here, the lanterns, blankets, pillows, everything. We decided on telling stories about how stupid we were when we were kids so we thougy and did these stupid things.

" ... And thats how I almost got run over by a truck. " Micheal said and we all laughed digging into our ice cream and cookies.

" Guys lets get the star lights from my room, they don't need an outlet or any power because they have batteties. Meg come help me. " Bee said while getting up. The two soon left, just leaving me with the boys and the soothing rain.

" This was a great idea Erika. " Ashton said while munching on a cookie.

" Thanks, we do it all the time here when it rains. " I said and they nodded. Luke just kept staring at me, so I blushed and thankfully the girls came down with a bunch of star lights.

We hung it above the tent, and we all layed down as we looked up at the 'sky'.

It was 10:00 pm and we were getting pretty drowsy. I got up and saw that everyone was asleep, so I guess I could just shut my eyes and drift off to dreamland under the stars.
