The hallways echoed with loud chatter. A soft voice though,could be heard. But only by a few.

That one soft voice belonged to only one person though, Savve Peters.

"Yeah, so Jamey, who do you like?" Savve said.

"Uh duh, Jake!" Jamey laughed

"Ewww, Jake?" Jessica spoke with disgust.

"Uh yes! He's so sweet!"

Savve laughed. A happy tear shedding down her face.

Jessica gave Savve a smirked face.

"So Savve." Jessica laughed.

"Who do you like?"

"Uhm.....nobody....."

"Liar"

"No I'm not!"

"Sure."

*School bell rings*

"Guys we should probably start heading class, Mr.James will probably kill me if I'm late again." Savve said as she walked away from her laughing group.

Savve walked into the classroom, and sat down at her scratched up,old desk.

Jeff walked in, hoodie over his head, and a pencil in his hand. He slumped down in his seat as soon as he sat down.

Savve's heart pounded as she looked at him. Almost as if she were having a heart attack. Until, she got the courage to speak to him.

"H-hey, Jeff."

He slowly look at her, black hair covering on eye.

"Hey." He turned his head back to his desk.

Savve once again spoke.

"Uhm, Jeff?"

Jeff sighed.

"What do you WANT?!"

Savve startled back into her chair, a small tear shed down her face.

*At lunch.*

Jamey looked at Savve, who had her head down.

"What's wrong, Savve?."

"Nothing." Savve muttered

"Oh come on! We know somethings up with you!" Jessica slammed her hand down on the table.

"I said NOTHING is wrong! Now leave me alone already!" Savve stormed out of the cafeteria.

*At home.*

Savve walked slowly into her bathroom, head down. She undressed, and walked over to the bath faucet, turning the hot water on. Savve stepped into the tub as soon as it was filled.

'Why does it have to be me who he hates?' Savve thought.

Savve let the hot water burn her skin, she would soon learn that this was her coping method for everything.
