With the sounds of the key unlatching; Scott shuffled through the door and slipped his keys into the back pocket of his jeans. His clothes were sticking to his sweaty body as he wiped his own forehead from the heated temperature. He'd practically ran home despite iy being incredibly late at 'work' and he didn't like leaving Malia getting suspicious. Once inside, Scott patted his sided pockets looking for his mobile phone. “I swear I...” he started, questioning where he'd put his own phone.

“Looking for this?” he heard. Scott raised his head seeing a very firm, straight faced Malia staring at him. His mobile in her hand. Except his home screen was clearly displaying all the missed messages the male had revived. Scott's face dropped in realization as it came to his surface that Malia knew. Shit...

“Malia I can expl-” he said.

“Save it. I don't wanna hear it Scott” Malia threw back, interrupting his sentence. It was extremely clear she was on the verge of growling but she had managed to contain herself. She was torn between heartbreak and betrayal, she'd never felt those feelings since Theo had shot her throughout the fight against The Desert Wolf but like hell she'd ever expect it from Scott. Her alpha. Her best friend. The one she thought loved her.

“Malia please! It meant nothing, I swear!” Scott begged, desperate for her to forgive him. Alas Malia paid no attention to his begging, she was too wrapped up in her own emotions to give a damn right now. “Why did you do it! I've done nothing but be faithful to you Scott, why!?” the brown haired girl bellowed, her voice cracking within each word. She generally thought Scott was the most loyal person... better than Stiles.

She didn't wait for an answer as she was already finding herself pulling clothes out of the wardrobe and in a nearby bag, suitable medium sized. Starting with multiple hoodies, sweatpants and whatever her tiny hands could grab in the one room she was standing in. It was until Scott knew that she was going to leave. “Malia please...can we talk about this?” he tried again, his facial expressions rushing in the terms of guilt and sadness at his girlfriend being in so much hurt and it was all his fault.

Even Malia was gathering those same chemosignals from the alpha, but yet she gave no response to him. Why should she?

“Scott I don't want to talk. I don't even want to look at you right now. I need to get out of this flat or whatever the hell this place is!” Malia scolded, her throat releasing a warned growl towards him. She grabbed her bag, throwing the item over her shoulder and rested it on top of her collar bone; making her way to do the door. Unfortunately she was stopped by a warm touch of a hand, turning to see Scott facing her.

“Mal...just tell me what to do. Tell me what to do to make it up to you. I'll do anything”

She could still see the sight of sadness in his eyes as the corner of them began watering. She couldn't, the one person she thought would never hurt her - did exactly that. “I want you to leave me alone” she quietly responded. And with that, she pulled her hand from Scott's grip and pounded the door in her exit. Scott was standing there in a quiet, empty flat after the echo's of the door had hit his ears.

He couldn't believe it. The only amazing thing he had in his life and he managed to screw that up. The alpha understood she needed alone time but what he most feared was that he'd lost Malia forever. Just like he'd lost Allison and Kira. He swore to himself, he couldn't lose Malia too. She was the only one he had left. “God dammit... God damn-” he muttered to himself, his hands clutching upon his head in his own pain.
A small chime echoed from Scott's mobile phone only seconds after. He turned around to see the device placed on top of the side table of an incoming text message;

Y/N; ‘hey baby, you up for tomorrow night? ;) xo

Scott shook his head at the text he'd received. He couldn't do it anymore, he'd broken Malia's heart and couldn't bare leaving it that way. His fingers scrolled towards the ‘Delete’ contact on his mobile and forcefully pressed the digit to delete the unnecessary contact. He dropped his phone on the couch and sat himself down; drowned in guilt, regret, sadness and anger. Mostly with himself. What the hell was he thinking?

Forty minutes down the road; Malia was busy wiping floods of tears from her cheeks along the sidewalk of a road. She'd taken a darkly blue car that Lydia had lended her before she'd went off to college for Malia to practice her driving in. Malia had gotten pretty good at her driving for one but that didn't mean she was 100% confident on it.

Her breath was shaking as her hands gripped on the hand wheel of the car. She had no idea where she was going to go, she couldn't go to Lydia or Stiles because they were so focused on college. Liam and Mason were most likely getting in trouble with Coach again. Until she had one other idea. She continued wiping her tears until her cheeks became damp and restarted the vehicles engine, driving under the nightly sky.

She was drawn to a certain place even if part of her knew she shouldn't go there since her past events but in reality, Malia couldn't find anywhere else to run too...
