Babysitting

I was on my laptop just chilling. I had changed into some sweat pants and a long sleeve. Today went great-ish. Kimberley and Cameron had a huge fight. The triplets ran super speed away. There was a knock on my room door.

Me: Come in.

Adam walked in.

Adam: There's somebody downstairs for you.

Me: Okay.

I got up and went downstairs There was a lady around the age of mid-30's.

Lady: Ah you must be Devin. I've heard so much about you.

I nervously laughed.

Me: Who from?

Lady: From Cameron of course. I'm Cameron's mother , Jackie.

Me: Hi.

Jackie: You see Devin. I have a 5 year old daughter who needs baby sitting. Cameron is out with some friends and I have an important meeting to attend to. I was wondering , Would you baby sit for 100.00 dollars an hour?

Me: Of course. When?

Jackie: Now. I really have to go.

Me: Of course. I'll just grab my phone and laptop and be right over.

Jackie: Okay.

I ran up to my room and grabbed my phone , charger ,keys and laptop. I went back down and told Adam I'll be baby sitting next door. He said okay. I went next door and knocked. Jackie answered.

Jackie: Okay. My daughters name is Sarah. I'm not sure when Cameron is supposed to be home but even when he is there , please stay until I get home. Oh and the security code is 1341. You are welcome to take her places. Her inhaler is on the kitchen table. Her booster seat is by the door and here is the spare key.

Me: Yes ma'am.

I walked inside and saw a little girl playing on the floor. She must be Sarah.

Sarah: Are you Devin?

Me: Yes I am cutie.

I closed and locked the door with the alarm system. I set my things on the couch.

Sarah: My names Sarah.

Me: I'm Devin.

Sarah: Oh. I like your name.

Me: Really? I like yours too.

Sarah: Thank you.

Me: Your welcome. So what you wanna do.

Sarah: Can we go for McDonalds?

Me: Of course honey.

I grabbed my laptop and things.

Me: I need for you to grab your inhaler and booster seat.

Sarah: Okay.

I locked up the house setting the alarm and we got in my car. I shot a text to Adam and Max saying I'm going to Mcdonald's. They said Okay. Then I sent a quick text to Ms. Jackie asking what does she eat from Mcdonalds. She sent me a quick text saying a 4 piece happy meal. I made sure Sarah was buckled up then I fastened my seat belt. Then I backed out and drove to Mcdonalds and parked. I got out with Sarah and we walked in. She got a happy meal and I got a double cheeseburger with only ketchup and a medium Sprite. We sat down and I was facing the door.

Sarah: Your the beat baby sitter ever.

Me: Thank you.

Sarah: All my other baby sitters were mean and rude.
