"Adelina!"
"Adelina, darling, where are you?"
"Come out, Adelina, where's my beautiful baby girl? Come. Your the flower girl! Everyone is waiting!"
I was hiding because I was scared. I didn't want to be the flower girl, I didn't want to be the person people were waiting for, I didn't want my hair up, I didn't want this wedding to happen. And no one would listen to me.
A dumbwaiter wasn't a great place to hide, because two arms reached in and dragged me out. I was in tears, and full mess. I bit the arm of my kidnapper and ran down the hall, right into a poof of white and silk. The pair of arms were back, and the tops of my hands were slapped three times. Making the rush of tears pour down harder.
"Dont hit her!" The authoritive voice boomed from the top of the poof of white. The bride scowled my evil nanny who was stuttering an apology and scampered away. She picked me up on her hip, and I buried my face in her neck.
"Now, what's wrong? Why are you crying? No one should be sad on a wedding day." She cooed.
I mumbled an apology, But the tears kept coming. "My head hurts, and My dress is itchy, and I don't to be a flower girl." I explained.
She stared at me for a while and then took in my appearance. She placed me on the vanity table and started wiping the tears from face. She let down my hair in beautiful golden curls and adjusted my dress so it was less uncomfortable. I'M MAKE THEM GOOD GIRLS GO-
"Noooo !" I cried. I was So close to finding out who that lady was! I glanced at my beside table that held my singing device.
" What!" I yelled into my phone, not checking caller I.D.
"Well. Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Wake-up, sleeping beauty. You have a ball to attend. Remember?" Jace said. I rolled my eyes and checked the time.
2:54PM
Have I been sleep that long? Ugh! I rolled out of bed, the phone still held to my ear. "I'll meet you at your place in ten." I hung up with that being said. I grabbed the dress off my counter still zipped up in It's own personal bag. I also grabbed by curling iron and my make-up bag. I didn't bother changing. I wore a simple V-neck T-shirt, a pair of sweats, and bunny slippers. I threw my hair in a messy bun.
I ran across the street and down a couple of houses. I got weird glances but I didn't care, I was to tired. I walked you the rocky walk way and rung the little bell. I could hear it from inside the house.
Jade was the one to open, with a smile. I smiled back.
"Don't you look like shit!" She stated as her eyes roamed my attire.
"Gee. Thanks, I was beginning to feel overdressed." I replied, rolling my eyes. I walked in and closed the door behind me.
