It's the one day of the year that everybody dreaded, nobody knew what was going to happen. You might be completely safe, or you might get injured, or you might die. Normally, the famous band, 5 seconds of summer, stayed inside and kept safe, this year however, this year might be different. They had planned revenge, on the people who hurt them most. Not haters in general, they needed those, but their bullies from high school. Luke was ready, every weapon he needed stuffed into a bag in his closet. He loved killing. Granted, the only time he killed was in video games, and the "people" were non-human, slowed him down. He never knew that right place to shoot was the persons smile, he was tqaught the brains. His mother would be pissed, but he honestly didn't give a fuck. This was the one night of the year where he could take all of his anger and frustation out, and he sure as hell was going to enjoy it.
It was almost midnight. Every channel on tv was covered with news broadcasts saying to stay in your home and get last minute preparations ready. There was a knock at the door, when Luke answered it he saw Michael, "I brought the caffeine pills, no way in hell are we falling asleep this year."
"Can't fucking wait" Luke replied with a sickening twisted smile.
"You scare me." Michael smiled, walking into Lukes apartment.
"Oh c'mon, I can't be that bad." His smile was wicked, and would surely scare some fuckers.
"Hey Mikey, you got your hit list ready." Ashton came into the living room, plopping down im the couch. Michael sat next to him.
"Fuck yeah I do. Why wouldn't I?" He ruffled his hair, making it messier than before.
"Because, Cal doesn't. That lazy fucker." Ashton laughed, leaning back. Luke sat on the love seat, fiddling with his fingers.
"Guys? " His voice was soft, almost unnoticeable.
"Yeah Luke?" Michael smiled at him.
"I-I... I'm having a change of heart. Maybe."
"Wait what?!?" Michael said. It was Luke's idea to even do it this year.
"I don't know it's just...." Luke started crying. Calum put a hand on his back.
"It's okay man! You don't have to" he said, trying to cheer up his mate.
"Your all fucking pussies!" Luke said laughing. All the boys started laughed, "I got you all!"
"Very funny." Ashton said walking in.
"I need all of the hit lists, now." He said as he walked in. Luke, Michael handed him the lists.
"Calum? Where's yours?" Cal cleared his throat, "I forgot." He said quietly.
"You what?" Ashton boomed.
"I FORGOT!" Cal yelled back throwing his hands in the air. Ashton walked over and pushed him onto the wall.
"Get your shit together Calum. I ain't got no time for this shit!" He yelled slapping Cal. Cal grabbed his face staring at him.
"I don't have anyone I want to have dead." He stated.
"We'll find someone" Ash spat back. Ashton wasn't the same. Not since last year when they killed Lilly. Lilly was his girlfriend of 4 years, she was pregnant.
