The ocean air consumed the area. The sounds of waves settling into the sand. The house settled a short way before the water line, it was extravagant in its being. Standing 2 stories tall with a small watch tower sitting on top, the House was truly marvelous. Rented by a group of friends for 2 weeks they were going to have the time of their lives.
The first car pulled up into the driveway, getting out was: Stephanie, Yamily, Ruby, and Alexis.
Seconds later, a second car came parking in as well, out came: April, Malani, Xsicia, Brandon, and Charlie.
"Who has the keys for the house again?" Asked Brandon.
"I do!" Replied Yamily.
"Damn this house is big, can't wait to see every part of it," said Malani.
"I plan on being on the beach, it's what we're here for." Said ruby.
"Me too" replied Charlie.
They waited at the front door as Yamily, tried opening the door. Once opened the energy of the house ate them whole. They walked in and began looking around.
"It's kinda depressing and alone," said Brandon.
"It's whatever, is there wifi?" Malani asked.
"No, sadly, we're all gonna die from not having wifi!" pouted Yamily.
"Omg! Shut up yamily" Stephanie laughed.
"I think its kind of nice," said Alexis.
"Eh I guess," said April.
They chose their rooms, each room had 2 beds, only 1 person slept alone.
The people who shared a room were:
Alexis and April
Yamily and Ruby
Xsicia and Malani
Brandon and Charlie
And Stephanie was by herself.
By the time it was dinner time, everyone was outside playing on the beach.
Stephanie and Yamily were taking pictures of the beach and themselves.
While the others giggled and talked.
"The sunset is so pretty," said Stephanie
"It really is." Said Yamily.
"I love this color palette for Mother Nature!" Exclaimed Brandon.
They sat for a while longer before the night began to settle in and the moon brought coldness with itself.
They went inside and sat at the kitchen table.
"What should we do tomorrow?" Asked ruby.
"I'm interested in checking out some of the shops in town." Replied charlie.
