Jess's POV:
"No. I'm Jackson. Jackson Wang." He smiled.
End of flashback:
"Why are we riding the bus?" We sat at the very back of the bus.
"Because I don't live here." He looked at me confused. I smirked.
"Then why are you here?"
"I came to visit someone, but they obviously didn't want to see me." I sat next to Jackson as he sat next to the window.
"Tell me Ms. Cruz. Who was it you went to visit?" I looked straight up ahead as the bus started to move.
"Jimin. Park Jimin." He looked up at me.
"...With Jennie?" I looked at him, by now we're looking at each others eyes.
"Yes.. Guessing you saw Jennie with Jimin?" He nodded his head. I looked away as the flashback that happened earlier came back.
I didn't know I started crying till he pointed it out.
"Woah, woah. Hey, what's wrong?" The way he looked at me at that moment made melt.
"What are you talking about?"
"You're crying." He scooted closer. Close enough so that he could wipe my tears away.
"It's okay.... It's okay." He said as he let me rest my head on his shoulder, while he stroked my hair.
"I'm here." Last words he said before I fell asleep. All I felt in that moment was tired. Not of Jackson. Just tired of being tired.
Jackson's POV:
The whole bus ride was really calming. The sound of the rain hitting the windows, the quietness, the warmth that Jess brought to me.
I know it's too early to say it, but I think I like her. This whole situation. Our ex lovers were in bed with each other, which brought us here to our coincidental meet up.
Or was it coincidental? As I kept thinking the only thing I could think was maybe it was written.
Maybe me and Jess were meant to meet each other. Maybe we're here to help each other get through this. Maybe she's the one.
*Groans.* I look to my left.
"Hey." She smiled. She looked adorable.
"Hey." I smiled back. She rested her head on my shoulder again.
At Jess's House:
"If you need anything, I'll be getting ready for bed."
She said while trying to grab some clothes for me as well.
Her house showed how much of social person she is. I walked into the kitchen, also saw some photos of her and Jimin on her fridge. They both looked happy. She came into the kitchen.
"Here's some of my brothers clothes. I never had the chance to give them back to him, kinda glad I decided not too." With that I changed in the guest room, while she went to get ready for bed.
I waited for her by sitting on the couch watching a show called The 100. A couple of minutes later, Jess came out in short shorts and a large t shirt that said Kiss. She looked adorably hot.
"Better close that mouth before you catch flies, luv." She said while walking into the kitchen grabbing 2 bags of chips, sitting next to me.
I couldn't help but keep looking at her. She just looked so hot, yet so cute. I held myself together because I just got out of a relationship, and she did too. I don't even know how she feels about me yet, but I knew at that exact moment when you smiled.
