Harry's POV, 6th Year

"Harry Potter to the principals office. Now, please." Called Dumbledore. 'What do they need me for now? I've been practicing quidditch all week, isn't that enough?' I think while heading up to his office, just after potions.

"Ah, you're finally here. Sit down. I have something to tell you." says Dumbledore. "What is it?" I say, kind of annoyed. I was supposed to be studying with Hermione by now, and she does NOT like it when I am late. She thinks it's because I'm not willing enough to learn, but I am. "I'll cut right to the chase. You have a sister. A twin sister."

"WHAT!?!" I thought i was the only Potter left!!!!!

"Yeah your parents cared so much for you two when you were born that they had enough time to send her to live with a close friend of theirs, but once they started preparing to send you away, for your own safety I must add, Voldemort attacked, so they tried to protect you themselves." He said.

"So they tried to send me away too, but did not have time?" I say quietly. "PRECISELY!" Replies Dumbledore, "Let me tell you more about her...."

*2 HOURS LATER*

"SO. Let me get this straight. My twins sisters name is Vanessa VanGough? And she lives in France  with her famous artist father, and mother who is the heiress to a large business and fortune, who are actually her adopted parents? and she is the same age as me, 16? Does she know who she is?" I ask all at once.

"Yes. You see, I told her about it a week ago. No one else knows about her... history... except for you, her, and I. And it will stay that way until I figure out how to bring her to Hogwarts without the Dark Lord getting word of this." Answers Dumbledore. "Okay, I see."

He looks me straight in the eyes, "Not even Mr. Weasley or Ms. Granger can know about this until then. Do you understand?"

"Y-yes sir." Dang, Dumbledore can be intimidating when he wants to be.

*2 Weeks Later*

I've been having such a hard time keeping my twin sister a secret from everyone, especially Ron and Hermione, who would tell me everything, but I can't even tell them this. I hope Headmaster Dumbledore figures out a way to get Vanessa here soon. "Mr. Potter, please come to the Headmaster's office." I am told by Professor McGonagall in a strict voice. I knock at the door when I arrive. "Mr. Potter! Please, come in. I have some great news to share with you!"

"Yes, Headmaster?" I ask, excitedly. "I've found a way to get your sister! It will be done through the ministry and she will be a transfer student and will still go by the last name VanGough. She CANNOT by any means, go by Potter or else the two of you will receive some unwanted attention. After Voldemort is defeated, then the two of you can tell everyone that she is your older twin sister." He replies, happily, popping a lemon drop candy into his mouth. "Want one?" Dumbledore asks, pointing to the jar of candies. "Um, no thanks." I reply. "Well, anyways," Dumbledore continues, "She will arrive in 3 weeks. It's a long process to transfer a student, believe it or not."

Leaving the Headmasters' office I was so excited that I didn't even notice I was about to run into Malfoy. "OUCH! HEY! Watch it, Potter!" Malfoy spits out my name like he had just eaten a sour candy. "And I saw how excited you were just now, Potter. What? Did Dumbledore compliment you for the thousandth time today?" He says sneering. "No! And it's none of your business, Malfoy. Wait. Actually. You'll see in a few weeks, I guess." I say while walking towards the Gryffindor dorm room. He yells after me, in full rage, "HEY! DON'T WALK AWAY FROM ME! I WASN'T DONE INSULTING YOU. AND WHAT DO YOU MEAN I'LL SEE IN A FEW WEEKS?! WHATEVER, WHO CARES WHAT YOU SAY!!" And walks in the opposite direction.

*3 Weeks Later, 1 day before Vanessa is to arrive at Hogwarts*

Vanessas' POV

I'm not ready to leave the countryside of Paris, I think to myself. I will miss the rolling hills of sunflowers, lavender, and dandelions. I won't be seeing or smelling this beauty for a long time. I will most definitely miss it.

I've already said goodbye to my few friends. I still can't believe how I am technically also "the girl who lived" even though the public doesn't even know about me. Well, they don't know about "Vanessa Potter" but some lucky few know about me, Vanessa VanGough. I look in the mirror in my bedroom and see my straight light brown hair, green eyes (just like my mothers), and light freckles. I think I'm pretty, but will never say it out loud. I don't want to look arrogant. Speaking of which, since I am moving to the UK I sadly have to cancel my contract with a modeling company, even though I've been with them for 3 years.  Anyways, I hope my brother is nice. I lay on my bed. It's so weird thinking about having a brother. What will it be like? Will we fight all the time? I honestly don't know, so I'm rightfully worried. I have also already bought what I need for the rest of the school year and an owl to send my... adopted.. parents letters. I don't care if they aren't my actual parents, they raised me, so I will forever regard them as my parents. I wonder if there will be any cute boys at Hogwarts. I know it's kind of weird to think of that, but, hey, I'm a teenage girl here! ANYWAYS. I hear my mom call me down for dinner. One last time. She made garlic bread, spaghetti, vegetables, salad, and fried rice. I will miss this so much.
