What happens to the things beauty leaves untouched?
Do they simply get thrown away like a corn's husk?
Or do they wait in the shadows
watching the meadows?
It's a sly world.
One that mocks the untouched.
They are called The Uglies.
But how is it fair to mock the ones without the touch?
Do you expect them to put on masks and such?
This is how they were made.
Without beauty's aid.
However is it a trick?
Possibly a charade?
The mocking world is the one who came up with the term beauty.
It's not The Ugly's fault that they do not live up to that term.
That they are not worthy.
But they do have a beauty to confirm.
The Uglies are the ones that show the inner beauty.
And let me tell you it's not snooty.
They can teach the ones with beauty's touch,
that inner beauty is not a crutch.
So for the ones with beauty's touch, take my hand.
I'll lead you to The Ugly's land.
If you come with me I will make but one promise.
Inner beauty never fades.
