Alice sat on the edge of the bath with Hermione, her hands shaking. Less than 2 metres away was the test on the toilet seat. The answer to that test left many many questions, many decisions that she would have to make about her future. Decisions she really didn't want to have to make.
" It's been two minutes." Hermione said, arm round Alice's shoulders. She turned to look into her best friends eyes, seeing the tears forming.
" Alice, what are you going to do if it's positive?"
Alice stood up, closing her eyes.
" I really don't know."
She walked over to the seat and turned over the pregnancy test, taking a deep breath. Hermione watched Alice's eyes widen before she let out a sob and fell to the floor. Hermione rushed over to her and fell beside her, catching a glimpse of the two red lines on the test as she wrapped her arms around Alice. Whatever she did now what her choice.
